Sammy and tenchi walked in to heal their pokemon. While tenchi flirted with the resident nurse joy and healed his pokemon, sammy got to know koffings personality better. It didn't share the regular koffing malice that made this pokemon a favorite with bikers. In fact it seemed almost nice. In addition to the regular koffing noxious gases, this one could manufacture ck1 and another scent which sammy couldn't quite place, but seemed familiar, something which sammy recognized from sneaking around the silph co. medical research division as a kid. After tenchi had finished flirting with the nurse joy sammy walked up to the counter and asked for his pokemon to be healed. "Why sure! You've got an adorable koffing here, what's its name?" "I just caught it. I think i'll name it.....Ricola." The nurse joy healed sammys pokemon and handed the pokeballs to him. "Good luck with that koffing!" she said. In response Ricola said "kooooooffing...." and swayed to some unheard music. "Looks like your hippie koffing won't be able to fight." tenchi said to sammie. "Oh yeah! I'll win in a one on one pokematch! I choose you ricola!" sammie said, hurling ricola like a basketball into the impromptue arena between sammy and tenchi. "Hah! I'll go easy on you and send out a psyduck. Go kappa!" "Psy yie yie..." "kappa, scratch!" tenchi commanded. The psyduck hurled himself at ricola, slashing with its claws. Ricola dissapeared in a cloud of black smoke. Before kappa could react ricola was behind him, blasting the intoxicating vapor at kappa. The psyduck swayed and didn't respond to tenchis commands. A simple nudge from Ricola made the psyduck fall....... Summary: Sammies new koffing turns out to be a hippie. He battles it against tenchis psyduck and wins.
