From: Roberto Perez-Vila <RobfromVoid@prodigy.net> Subject: [PW!] Taking Care of Business Date: Saturday, May 22, 1999 11:50 AM Minax is leaning up against a tree in the outskirts of Lavender Town. It's a bright and sunny day, the kind that Minax absolutely hated. "The only good thing about days like this is that people get to see my beauty more clearly!" Her vanity is especially high on this particular day. Her glossy black boots are standing right next to where she is sitting. It's a rare sight to see Minax barefoot, but here she is now. She is doing something even more peculiar, giving herself a pedicure! She hardly ever removes her boots. The reason is simply that because she doesn't wear socks, sweat tends to gather, and even she isn't used to her own stink. When she was Marcie, she used to threaten to knock people unconscious with the Muk-like stench from her boots. That nonsense is behind her. Though she's pretty sure that no one is going to be looking at her feet any time soon, she feels that it is necessary to paint her toenails. Her vanity makes her frivolous. "I wish Pokemon blood would stay on nails. It's free." She ponders, glancing at her almost empty bottle of dark purple nail polish. "Instead I have to buy this stuff. I'm going to have to cash that check soon." She dips the applicator into the bottle and bends forward, gently brushing her toenails with the paint. Once finished, she reclines against the tree, gazing at her now shiny purple toenails. "I just have to wait for the paint to dry... Then I can find someone to run the errand for me." She opens up her black sack and withdraws the check that Erika gave her a few days ago. "5000 coins... Just for delivering a Clefairy. I wish money always came so easily." She pulls out sunglasses and rests them on her nose. She subconsciously wiggles her toes while she waits for the polish to set. While leaning against the tree, she closes her eyes, and falls asleep in the relaxing quiet breeze. Minax wakes up laughing like a mad woman! The moment she wakes up, she remembers the second reason why her boots never come off her feet... She's very ticklish! She tosses her sunglasses off of her face, and glances down to see what is attacking her vulnerable feet. A wild Vulpix is brushing its six tails across the soles of Minax's feet, chuckling playfully while doing so. Minax can't stand laughing so much, since she has a reputation for being serious which might be ruined, but she can't shoot the Vulpix since it is so close to her own bare feet. While still giggling madly, Minax yanks her shiny skinning knife out of her sheath. She swipes at the Vulpix, careful not to hit herself, and the Vulpix squeals out in pain, "Vuuuuuuul!!!" It runs away, leaving a trail of blood behind. Minax wipes the tears formed during the tickle assault off of her cheek, and looks down at the ground. One of the Vulpix's fluffy tails is resting on the grass, right next to her feet. She picks it up to examine the tail further. "It's not enough material to make a decent scarf. It's not even enough damage to kill the Vulpix." Minax smirks sinisterly, "It looks like that Vulpix is going to evolve into an Eighttales!" Some laughter is left over from the attack, so Minax chuckles one last time. Minax finds it hard to cram her feet back into her boots. The boots are so tight that they had begun to start taking the shape of Minax's legs, so they are difficult to put back on once removed. After a long struggle, both boots are back in place, and her feet are once again protected from any wild Vulpix looking to make friends. She heads toward Lavender Town, in hopes that the people there won't recognize her, and she'll be able to cash her check. "No one ever comes to this place." Minax keeps walking, keeping an eye out for any trainers that could assist her in cashing her very valuable check. Once inside the violet fog of Lavender Town, she spots a young man of about 15 years of age, with a baby Cubone at his side. It it pulling on his trainer's pant leg, "Cuuuuu Bone! Cuuuu Bone!" Minax shudders. She absolutely abhors Cubones. "It's another one of those teary eyed idiots. Too bad I can't kill it inside the Town limits. Oh well. Maybe the kid can help me cash my check." She strolls over to where the kid and his Cubone are standing, trying to look sexier than usual. "I need your help, young man." The adolescent responds without even looking at Minax, "Hold on, lady... I'm having some trouble with this Cubone I just caught. He doesn't want me to take him to the Pokemon Center for some reason." "It's a coward." Minax whispers, through clenched teeth. She glares at the silly baby Pokemon. After the kid gets frustrated enough, he sucks the Cubone back into its Pokeball. "There! Let's see you disagree now!" The kid shoves the Pokeball into his pocket. He looks at Minax for the first time, and his jaw drops. "Uh... Hi." Minax pulls Erika's check out of the pouch on her belt. "This is a check for 5000 coins. I need you to go into the Bank in this Town and tell them to give you four 1000 value coins, one 500 value coin, and five 100 value coins. Do it right, and there just might be a reward in your future... Do it wrong and..." Minax looks down at her holster, and simply declares, "Just don't do it wrong. Here." She hand him the check. He stands there in awe for a moment, then marches straight into the Lavender Town Bank. Minax waits, thinking about different ways of killing Cubones, and about five minutes later, the boy returns with a bag. He hands the bag to Minax. She examines the contents within, is satisfied, and dumps the coins into her own leather bag. "What's the reward?" The boy asks, puckering up his lips. Minax breaths out a mocking laugh, "The reward is that I'm not going to kill you." She slaps him for being a pervert and runs westward, back towards Saffron City. The boy simply stares at the woman's tight rear end as she runs away. -Minax
