Note: Some stuff here might like make some people feel uncomfortable.
Good-bye world, because I don't think you'll remember me
I don't like to be someone's burden
I know it don't make much sense I'm a burden to myself as well
Better face it, no one remembers second place
At least I'll make the front page news
It's better to be a statisic then to be nothing at all
I guess someone opened a Pandora's Box and let it all out one me.
All the things I cared about just left along the way
No one left to care about
No one left to care for me
It's like the day after Christmas when Grandma and Grandpa go home
Left with crumbled papers and tattered memories
Oh somebody tell me
Somebody you love me
I need somebody's shoulder to cry on
Tell why I shouldn't just go away
I don't want to take my life but I don't care enough to stay
So kiss me with your salty lips and send me along my way...

Wind held up the gun ready to pull the trigger. I figure could be seen from
the distance.
No, no not now. Wait, could it be..
"Dev?" She choked. "Dev?" She said louder. "DEV!?" She was shouting now, but
she couldn't get up.
"Wind." He pulled his arms around her. He started kissing her mouth. her ears,
her cheeks... (no this is not supposed to be sick Tsk. Tsk. you and your dirty
minds). Dev held her pulling the wanted poster into his pocket. He realized
she was shaking.
"There's blood..." Dev started to say alarmed.
"I know, I know but I can't go back to the hospital..." Wind started.
"Here, I'll just wrap some more bandage on it and it should be fine." Dev said,
not sure why Wind's face seemed to blank and dark. "There I'm done. You'll be
fine."
Wind looked at Dev's face. Clearly he wanted an explanation, anything. "Just
hold me please..."
Dev pulled his arms back around her and kissed her forehead.
"It'll be fine." Dev said.
"No, it won't. She shot my Butterfree damnit." Wind trailed off realizing she
never thanked Dreadite for taking her to the hospital. "I never thanked
Dreadite either."
Dev nodded confused, but concerned and saddened. After a while Dev got to lie
down in a sleeping bag. He felt like he was taking care of an injured child.
It scared him, he'd never seen someone so hysterical in his life. Usually Wind
was in total control. Now she was just as vulnerable as ... him. He stroked
her hair, hoping she'd fall asleep her calm down. He could hear her wheezing
in the darkness, he couldn't bear to see her sad face. She's lost so much. I
wonder how she goes on without ending herself.
The hit him. Dev looked around her, there was a gun, loaded. He breathed
deeply. He reached out to grab it, but stopped. Wind rolled over.
"I don't want to be a burden to you Dev, I'll make it fine on my own." Wind
said, a little more composed now.
"No, you won't. It's obvious you need help. You've had a hard life. Let
someone give you a helping hand."
Wind's face looked a little angered, "That's what old man Andrew tried to do.
Look were that got me."
Dev sighed,"I mean more then that, more then I can give you."
"I'll be fine all right!" Wind snapped, her eyes started to glow.
Dev flinched back a bit surprised by the change. He held and chin and stared
into her eyes.
"I'm not leaving you..." He kissed her lips softly at first. Wind pulled him
close and kissed him passionately. Dev was the one who pulled away after what
seemed like an eternity.
"I owe it to you. The short time I was with you, you showed me more then my
family ever showed me." Dev said. In a softer voice, almost inaudible. "I
love you, I'll help you through this."
Wind melted. "I love you too." She choked burying her face in his arms,
feeling a hope raise up in her once again.
