Then out of nowhere a huge blast is heard with a sound that seemed similar to that of a jigglypuff. "I wonder what that was", said Zephyr before a man in a lab coat appeared from behind a tree. "That was a jigglypuff launcher. It was created by the evil Team Rocket", said the man. "Team Rocket I'll show them! Hey, who are you anyway?", said Zephyr to the man. "The name's William I'm one of Professor Oak's aides", said Will. "Oh, Professor Oak. I never got a chance to meet him and get my pokedex", said Zephyr disappointed. "Well it just happens I finished making a new custom pokedex. You can have it if you answer two out of three questions right", said Will with a cynical smile on his face. "I'm ready", said Zephyr happy that he might just receive a pokedex. "First question what type of pokemon is strong against electric type pokemon?", said Will to the ever so impatient Zephyr. "Ground and rock", Zephyr screamed out knowing that he was right. "Correct. Next question what is the evolved form of magikarp", said Will. "Its gyrados", said Zephyr. "Correct again", said Will sounding a little disappointed before continuing on. "Last question how much damage does the sonic boom attack inflict", said Will thinking that Zephyr would get it wrong. "The sonic boom attack always inflicts twenty hit points of damage", said Zephyr happily, seeing that he just won a pokedex. "All right you win here's your pokedex. This is the most updated version, it can tell you your pokemon's level, status, and what moves it learnsand has learned. It also has eight slots for the eight official pokemon gym badges and additional slots for unofficial pokemon gym badges. And last of all it includes a mini flashlight and a mini video phone. Here you go you've earned and since you answered all three questions correctly you get the bonus prize a pokeball. By the way it's empty." said Will to the triumphant Zephyr. "All right thanks allot Will", and tell the Professor I said hi.", said Zephyr before continuing his journey. Zephyr then attached the pokedex to his forearm, seeing that he wanted to have both hands free, by using the pokedex's straps. "Lets try this baby out. Go Starstorm and go Aero", Zephyr said before throwing two of his three pokeballs. "Star", Starstorm said before stretching out its limbs. "Cata", said Aero relieved it was out of that pokeball. "Ok pokedex give me Starstorm stats", said Zephyr to the pokedex. "Please insert the following information first, the pokedex's name, your name, current pokemon, and when finished press enter to download the world map," said the pokedex in its electronic voice. "Ok lets name you Athena, since Athena is the god of knowledge and wisdom. My name of course is Jake Vallen and my nickname is Zephyr. Current pokemon are Aero and Starstorm," Zephyr said before typing in the information and pressing enter. "Downloading", said the pokedex before completing its download and changing into a female voice. "Download complete", said Athena. " Now can you give me my pokemon's stats", said Zephyr to Athena. "One second please", said Athena as a light appeared and scanned Starstorm and Aero's bodies. "Starstorm level ten, moves tackle, bubblebeam, and water gun. Aero level seven, moves tackle and string shot. Evolution overdue,' said Athena. "Wow Starstorm I didn't know you learned watergun and don't worry Aero you'll evolve when your time comes", said Zephyr reassuring his caterpie. "Well lets get..," Zephyr tried to finish but fell through the covered up hole as he turned around. "Ahhhh", Zephyr screamed as he fell down the hole before being engulfed in darkness.
