"Good morning", said Zephyr to his pokemon. The two pokemon exclaimed happy to see their trainer finally awake. "Well lets get going it's going to take awhile to get through Viridian Forest. We'll pick some fruit on the way for breakfast", said Zephyr before packing up. "Goodbye Viridian City I have a feeling we'll meet again sometime", said Zephyr looking back at the beautiful city before entering Viridian Forest. After awhile the group stopped for a bite. "Mmm this fruit is delicious", Zephyr said as he took another bite of a plump juicy apple. "Catata.." Aero said in agreement. In the background two people started to battle. "Bedrill twin needle now", said a young boy that looked a bit older than Zephyr. "Hey a pokemon battle, lets go we haven't had a real battle in sometime now", said Zephyr before running off to the pokemon battle. "I win", said the same young boy. "Hey want to battle", said Zephyr to the young boy. "The name's Jack and yes I accept your challenge, prepare to lose", said Jack with a little too much confidence. "All right lets do it, Aero go", said Zephyr as his caterpie did as it was told. "Humph a bug pokemon, I know I'm going to win now, spearow go now", said Jack as he threw spearow's pokeball. "Spearow peck attack now", said Jack as spearow flew towards Aero for the attack. "Aero dodge..", Zephyr tried to finish but was cut off by Aero's screams. "No", Zephyr yelled. "Give up', said Jack mockingly. "Never I know the true potential of caterpie and he can defeat your spearow", said Zephyr before commanding Aero to dodge spearow's next attack and counter it with stringshot. "Spearow peck it again", said Jack. But as spearow flew in for the attack Aero did as his trainer ordered and dodged spearow ,but not before spraying it with its stringshot. The unfortunate spearow covered with strings crashed into a near by tree thus, causing it to faint. "No way", Jack said in awe as his spearo was defeated. "That's it playtime's over, spearow return and go oddish" said Jack enraged over his defeat. "Aero return and go Starstorm", said Zephyr. "Oddish absorb now", said Jack again with too much confidence. "Starstorm dodge and use your bubble beam and cover the entire area with bubbles". Zephyr said as Starstorm dodged the attack and fogged up the area with its bubbles. "Where did it go" Jack said. Confused Jack ordered his oddish to use its absorb attack repeatedly thinking that it's sure to get a hit. After wasting all of its PP the oddish stood there tired and panting. "That's it Starstorm finish it off", said Zephyr to his pokemon. The staryu appeared out of the fog and in front of the oddish before blasting it ,with its bubble beam attack, into the nearby rock causing it to faint. "All right nice work Aero and Starstorm", Zephyr said triumphantly. "You just had luck on your side", said Jack disappointed before handing over 50 coins.
