He decided to walk his way over to Bills house, and then Vermilion city for a thunderbadge. "Are you sure you want to go alone Tenchi?" Sammy asked "Yeah, this is something I have to do alone. There's someone waiting for me there" "Who? A friend or something?" "Yeah..something." Without another word, Tenchi walked up nugget bridge, on his way to Bills house. On the way over there, he saw a group of hikers and other trainers, and decided to raise up his pokemons levels. Walking over to the nearest trainer, Tenchi challanged him. The trainer sent out a Cubone, and Tenchi sent out Kappa. "Kappa, confusion now!" "Cubone use your bonearang!" Kappas eyes glowed, and Cubone wavered around a bit. It then began to hit itself over the head with its own club. The trainer sighed and returned his Cubone. Tenchi congradulated Kappa, who was eating some grass. Tenchi sweatdroped and returned him to his pokeball. "What a baka Psyduck." And so it went. Battaling trainer after trainer, Tenchi finally made it to Bills house, with Blazer crawling behind. "Nine..tails." Tenchi turned around, and felt a pang of guilt. "Sorry Blazer, i thought you were doing ok. I guess that Nidorans posion sting did more damage then i thought." Tenchi picked up Blazer, and kicked on Bills door. The doors swung open and Tenchi entered. "Welcome young sir. How are you?" "I'm fine, thank you. But i need your help. My Ninetails was injured badly fighting a Nidoran. Do you have any poison heals i could use?" "Of course. Bill steped out from behind the shadows and handed Tenchi a small vile of bluish liquid. Tenchi set Blazer down, and poured it into a bowl. He put the bowl next to him. Blazer laped up the liquid and barked happily. "Ninetails!" Tenchi and Bill were enjoying some tea, when Bills Eevee came up and sat by Tenchi. He pet her, and she purred happily, licking his hand. "Well, thats odd." Bill said, sipping his tea "What is?" "Well, Nighbird usually dosen't like strangers. And she never lets them pet her. Your the first one she hasent burned." Bill looked down at Nightbird. "Would you like to go with this man on his jorney?" "Eevee!" She jumped in Tenchis arms.Bill smiled. "i'll take that as a yes." Tenchi set Nightbird down, and she ran off to play with Blazer. "I don't know what to say. Thanks Bill." Tenchi took out Luckys pokeball. "Here, you can have my silver Butterfree. I got him from pokemon Island, but havent been able to control him much. Maybe you'll have better luck than i did." Lucky came out of his pokeball, and floated over to Bill. "Thank you Tenchi." Tenchi recalled Blazer to his pokeball, and thanked Bill again. "Before you go, would you like Nightbird to evolve?" Bill asked. "Better ask her. Nightbird walked over to Tenchi, and stared up at him. "Nightbird would you like to evolve?" Tenchi pointed to three stones layed out. "Vee!" Eevee trotted over to a firestone, and tapped it with her nose. She glowed and grew in size slightly. "Flareon!" Tenchi hugged his new Flareon. He then said goodbye to Lucky and Bill and walked foward to Vermilion, with Nightbird at his side. Bill waved goodbye and thought to himself, "theres more than meets the eye to the boy."
