They were just reaching the very edges of the field of tall grass they were walking through. "Hey Joel, after we get to Viridian you wanna hang around with me an' Angel Boy for awhile?" Clarissa asked. Joel shook his head. "Nah thanks anyway but I think I'll hang around Viridian for awhile. Clarissa grinned as Jake leaped over the final barrier before Viridain. Jake was once more in his wing concealing black trenchcoat. His other one had gotten torn in a.... training accident... and he had to fly all the way back to Charmander Field to get another one. He had tried to stay up high in the clouds but he did see a number of people run into the nearest churches as he flew over. He couldn't figure out why though. The Trio walked into Viridian city home of the often closed Earth Badge gym. Jake, who was used to the small town of Pallet couldn't help but look around at the big city. "Whoa...." Clarissa laughed at him. "You think this is big? you should go to Saffron City" After healing their pokemon Jake, Clarissa and Joel are outside of the Pokecenter. "Well i guess we'll see you around."
