(I've got exams coming up, so this will be my last PW post for quite
some time. I've also bene playing aroudn with the continuity of my PW,
but seeing how few people read this it shouldn't matter much. This
isn't really an important PW, more of a "filler".)
Shrike glided effortlessly through the cool air, the wide sparkling
sea below her.
"When do you think we'll see Tick again?" asked Kirsty. Her ponytail
fluttered out behind her in the breeze. She was at the back of
Shrike's body, holding onto Samuraichu's side.
"Chu...rairai."
Felix sat at the front of Shrike's sleek body, holding onto a fistful
of feathers for stability. His best friend recently left for the NC
realm, to join with his lost family. Though he was happy for Tick,
things seemed somwhat different without his trusted friend by his
side. They'd been companions for virtually all of their lives, and
though they'd separated on many occasions, Felix was always sure of
his return.
Something seemed to be missing, that something was Tick Kirsty felt it
too, things were not meant to be like this. It just seemed too
different, knowing that he may not return from the Sequiro Manor. From
what Charlesson had described, the Manor was a paradise, one which
Tick may not want to leave.
Tiliting tlightly to the left, Shrike caught onto a thermal and
gracefully lifted into the air. The skies were beggining to darken
into a deep crimson, sunset approaching rapidly. Crimson, the colour
of blood.
Blood. He'd watched Tick fight hand-to-hand with Tomoe, and along with
Jin Isai had beaten off Tomoe's honour guard. Wigglytuff Launcher at
the ready, Felix picked off his enemies with lightning precision while
using his talon-like hands to maul his foes up close. They emerged
triumphant, Tomoe allowed to live but soundly beaten off.
Felix stared out into the sunset. The battle seemed like it happened
yesterday, though it had occured many months ago.
"He'll be back, don't worry," said Felix. Kirsty sighed, and brought
her attentions to the sea below. Goldeen skipped gracefully amongst
the waves, and danced with the Horsea. A lone Lapras glided through
the ocean, a beautiful V-shaped ripple in its wake.
"Well, the Safari Zone's coming up soon," said Felix. "I've got room
for a Kangaskhan, or maybe a Dodrio."
"I'm after another Dragonite. Maybe we'll run into some."
The coast rapidly approaching, Shrike began her descent into Fuschia
City's skyline, the open sea behind her.
