I want to catch one anyway,” Jessica said, slightly annoyed. Jessica and Erica pushed through tall grass to a cleared area. Beyond it was more tall grass that seemed to go on, and on. “When will this end?” Jessica mumbled to herself. She and Erica cleared through more grass. “Pidgeeeeeeey!” a Pokemon cried. “Pidg, pidg, pidgey!!!!!!” “What was that?” Erica asked Jessica. “I don’t know take out your Pokedex,” she said softly, pulling hers from her back pocket. It then gave info on Pidgey. “Do you want that Pokemon Jess?” Erica asked. “Nah, that thing is so old and pathetic!!” Jessica said in disgust. “Lets look for other ones.” Next, they trudged through more grass, only to find a Rattata, hurt and injured. “Aw, look at this thing,” Erica cooed. “I’ll capture it and bring it to a Pokemon center nearby.” “Yeah, whatever you say,” Jessica mumbled, staring into space. “Alright, I think we’re almost outta this place,"Jessica said as Erica put the Rattata in her pokeball. Jessica cleared her way through the grass as Erica followed. "Rat? Atta?" The small Pokemon squealed. Jessica jumped. "Alright I'll capture ya, hahaha!! Go Pikachu!" Pikachu popped out. "Alright shock it with all you've got," Jessica yelled. Erica then poked in front of her to see what was going on. Pikachu shocked the poor Rattata. It was very weak. Jessica threw her Pokeball at the small purple rat. It caught it. "Yeah alright!!"Jessica cheered. She put the Pokeball in her backpack. "Come Erica, let's get moving!" So Jessie and Erica walked to Viridian together with their new Pokemon.
