"Hey look a Zubat!" Clarissa said pointing at the bat pokemon. "Yeah there are lots of them around." He looked up at the stone ceiling. "I don't know how anything that can fly can live in this blasted cave, there is no room whatsoever." Jake muttered staring around at the stones that made up the tunnel. Clarissa turned around to look at him. "What is with you and this cave?" she asked. "I'm claustrophobic alright. I can't stand not being able to see the sky, it's the bird in me." He measured the width of the tunnel that they were walking down. "Look at this, this isn't even enough room to spread my arms out, let alone my wings." "Quit being so paranoid Jake. It isn't that bad." she said. "Easy for you to say, you grew up in Cerulean, you probably spent alot of time around here." Clarissa turned around to stare at the winged man. "You claim your claustrophobia comes from the bird in you?" She crosses her arms over her chest. "Yes thats right." He says wondering what shes getting at. "Well then how do you explain Articuno? If the rumors are true he's down in Seafoam, and Moltres over in Victory road. Heck even Zapdos nests indoors." Jake nodded. "Yeah and your point is...?" "My point is that your fear of closed in spaces is not because of 'the bird in you.'" She said. "Well first of all Zapdos isn't in a cave, he's in a building, there's a difference." Clarissa rolled her eyes. "Secondly Articuno is ice type so he doesn't have to worry about rock pokemon. Moltres is the exception that every rule has." Clarissa laughs. "What about Dodrios?" she asked "Dodrios don't fly, so the don't have to worry about stretching their wings." Clarissa hid a laugh behind her hand. "Sure Jake whatever." TBC The Saint
