Geodude was hit by the beam, but managed to punch Venonat pretty hard. 'Psychic' telepathed Lazarus. Waves of Psychic energy smashed into Geodude, finishing him. "Alright, Go Onix!" said Brock. Onix leapt at Venonat. Venonat hopped aside, and Onix hit the wall. The crash made one of the boulders on the wall fall down, and it rammed into Venonat, who fainted. Onix was still up. "Man. I lost" said Laz. "Well. You would of won, but that boulder fell. Well I guess I'll give you the Boulder Badge anyways" said Brock. "Thanks!" replied Laz. He put the badge on his coat, and left. Schin was waiting outside. "I found a bunch of Clefairys for you to catch. Only 1 though" said Schin. "Ok!" replied Laz. Laz healed Venonat, and they headed towards a field near Mt. Moon. About 39 Clefairys were dancing happily. "Venonat, use your Sleep Powder" said Lazarus. A few fell asleep. Venonat leapt at one, and began to fire a barrage of psychic attacks at it. It was bruised pretty bad when laz threw the pokeball. He concentrated all of his psychic powers to hold it shut. The Clefairy was trying to break loose, the energy was seeping out of the pokeball. Venonat kicked the pokeball. That was just enough to capture it. "That was a very strong Clefairy" said Schin, admiring the catch. "Come on out!" said Laz. "Clefairy Clefairy" chanted the pokemon. "It appears he knows Metronome, Sing, Psybeam, Double Team" said Laz. "CLEEEEE" said the Clefairy. Laz handed him an apple. "Fairy!" said Clefairy as he ate the fruit. It flapped its wings in joy. "You're a happy little fellow, aren't you" said Laz. It nodded. Venonat and Clefairy had a small conversation. Clefairy closed his eyes and began to glow. He grew to an enormous size, then back down to normal size. "Wow! That's cool" said Laz. "Well, I've helped you enough, so I guess I'll be leaving" said Schin. He threw a small ball to the ground. It erupted in a flash of light, and Schin was gone. "Oh well, lets head to Mt. Moon!" said Laz. Clefairy hoped up and down. They entered the dark cave. "CLEEEEEEEEEEEFAAAAAAAAAAAIRY!" yelled Clefairy as he lit up the cave with a blast of psychic energy. They made it to the end of the tunnel very quickly. Just as they were leaving a huge group of Geodudes blocked the exit. "Clef Clefairy CLEEEEEEEEEEE" yelled Clefairy as he blasted some of the Geodudes. "Venonat! VENONATTTT" yelled Venonat. He fired off a few Hyper Beams. The Geodudes rushed at them. Clefairy was enraged, and he quickly began to kick Geodude but Karate style. "YAAAAAA" yelled Laz as he fired off Psybeams. The Geodudes were getting some hits, but eventually they were toast. Laz, Clefairy, and Venonat limped out of the cave, injured. They quickly got to the Pokecenter and healed. 'Why did those Geodudes attack us' telepathed Laz. "Clef!(I don't know)" replied Clefairy.
