"Ok, see you around!" replied Blaine, as Blaze left. "So, where are we going?" asked Brushfire. "Professor Oak, for a Pokedex" replied Blaze. They quickly made it to the local harbor, and bought a large boat. "I'm afraid of the water!" whined Brushfire. "You'll be fine, just stay in the boat" replied Blaze. Soon they were half-way to Pallet Town. They had seen a few Tangelas, and Tentacools. As the drove, it began to shake. A huge beast came up from underwater. It was a Tentacruel. "bye!" said Brushfire. "Fight him with your Ember attack!" commanded Blaze. "just great" Brushfire leapt into the air, and began to spin. Embers began to fly off of his tail, burning the tentacruel. It replied by smashing Brush with its Tentacle. "Fire spin attack" said Blaze Brushfire took a deep breath. He released a huge stream of fire, that began to circle the Tentacruel. "Catch it! Then you can trade it for another fire poke!" cheered Brushfire. Blaze threw the ball. The poke was caught, and Blaze grabbed the pokeball. Soon they reached Pallet. Blaze parked the boat, and they walked into the town. It was large, mainly because it was where ash was living. Oaks house was on a hill. Blaze ran up the hill, and knocked on the door bell. "Coming" said Oak. The door creeked open, revealing a huge mansion, full of computers and pokeballs. "Wow" gawked Blaze. "I can give you a pokedex, and a pokemon, or the newest thing. A Magnemite/Voltorb/Porygon pokedex, that also fights as a pokemon" offered Oak. "Well, I'll take the 2-for-1 special, Voltorb" replied Blaze. A Voltorb flew out of a room. "Hello, I am Exeo, a pokedex/pokemon creation by professor oak. How may I help you?" asked Exeo. "I'm not your MASTER, you're free to come and go, but since most people would kill you on sight, you should stay with me" replied Blaze "Thank you, I wish to stay with you, you appear to be a good trainer" replied Exeo. "Well, thank you Oak. I appreciate your kindness, and hospitality" said Blaze. "It's the least I can do, but you should thank the pokemon league for sponsoring me" said Oak. Blaze waved goodbye and rushed to Viridian City. "There are high amounts of Pidgeys and Rattatas within a 3 mile radius, and some spearows and nidorans within a 7 mile radius" said Exeo. "Thanks, if you pick up any fire pokemon, please tell me" replied Blaze. "So, do you have any brothers, or special abilities?" asked Brushfire. "I have 2 brothers, and I am slightly psychic. I am also equipped with pin missile launchers" replied Exeo. "Heavy duty artillery. You could take on a million Nidokings" said Brushfire. Exeo laughed. "Well, now that were in Viridian City, I need to go to the pokecenter, come on" said Blaze. Brushfire, and Voltorb went up to Nurse Joy to be healed, while Blaze went to the computer. He sent an e-mail to blaine. From: Blaze -- To: Blaine -- Subject: Trade -- Attachment: Pokeball -- Dear Blaine, I have reached Viridian City, on my way there I have captured a Tentacruel. I would like to trade you it for one of your many Charizards. Sincerely, Blaze. He pressed the send button, then returned to Brushfire and Exeo. They were watching the news. It showed a smoldered building. "Today is a grim day in the world of pokemon. A pokecenter in a town near Mt. Moon was bombed. Hundreds of people, and pokemon were killed. The suspected killer is a water trainer, named Riv. If you know anything about this crime, please inform officer jenny immediately" said the reporter. "Riv? Exeo, run a life-form scan, for Riv" said Blaze. "Search commencing. Searching. Searching. Searching. Target found at coordinate 15.789, on the 3rd latitude degree, north" said Exeo. "Translated: Outside of Viridian gym" said Exeo. Blaze quickly ran out of the pokecenter, and took off running. Brushfire had no trouble keeping up, neither did Exeo. The soon reached the Gym. Sure enough, Riv was outside of the gym. "Riv! I know you bombed the pokecenter, I challenge you to a pokemon battle!" said Blaze. Riv looked at him. Vaporeon, and a Raichu were standing next to him. "You're on Blaze, Go Vaporeon!" said Riv. "Brushfire, you're up" said Blaze. "Give him your Flamethrower attack!" said Blaze. "Vaporeon, strike back with Surf!" said Riv. The Flamethrower didn't do too much, but neither did the surf. Brushfire dodged most of the attack, and only got a few drops. "Bite him!" said Blaze, "Vapor, use your Acid Armor attack!" chanted Riv. Blaze went through the acid like a hot knife through butter. Vapor fell to the ground. "NOOOO! Go Thud!" yelled Riv. "Step down Brushfire, go Exeo!" said Blaze. "Use your hologram, then give him a SOLAR BEAM!" said Blaze. "Thud, use your Swift!" said Riv. Exeo made holograms of 30 voltorbs thunderbolting him. Thud couldn't find the real one, until he was smashed into submission by a sun beam. He got up, and Thundered Exeo. Exeo set up a Electric Shield, that reflected it back at Thud. Thud fell to the ground, exhausted. "You won't turn me in" said a very scarred Riv. He recalled his pokemon, and broke into a mad run. "Let him go, he'll be back" said Blaze. "I think its time you get a motto" said Exeo, as they walked to Pewter City. "You're right Exeo, how about: Feel the burn, then you'll learn. When I make all feel the heat, all others will meet defeat. Using the power of the fire, I'll make it to the top, without tire!" said Blaze. "Sounds good!" said Brushfire. TBC!
