Wanna buy a Magikarp Set?? I need to sell some here before I head up to the Pokemon Center near Mt. Moon," the salesman offered. "Well, will it take very long to evolve??" Ian asked skeptically. "Oh, no! This Magikarp is the best breed! It knows Tackle attack as well as Splash attack! The only problem is it can't learn any TMs. But don't worry, it comes with a gold pokéball to hold this swell Magikarp!" "Well. how much??" Ian asked again, more skeptic than before. "Only $9.99! I'll tell you what, this is my last Magikarp before I stock up on more.. I'll throw in a few TMs, also, Mega Punch, Swift, and Fire Blast. OK?" the salesman said as he pulled out the TMs. "OK!" was the answer the salesman got, as Ian put the stuff in his backpack. He healed his pokémon and headed for Viridian Forest. He walked in and pulled out one of his TMs along the way. "Hey, maybe I could teach my Charmander Fire Blast so it will get stronger!" Ian said as he brought out Charmander. "Hey, Char, this might tickle a little, but it's OK," Ian said as he opened the TM. Speckles floated down onto Char's head, as a rustle in the bushes occurred. Ian turned around and saw 2 little eyes looking at him through the bushes. "Pika? Pika Pi Chu?" it said as Ian realized it was a Pikachu. The Pikachu jumped out of the bushes as if he wanted to fight Charmander. So, Ian wanted to see Char's new move. "Charmander! Fire Blast! Now!" Ian said. But, Char just looked at him in confusion. "Charmander? What's wrong? Char, use the move you learned with the TM I used on you," Ian said. So, Char nodded and got ready. Ian smiled, but just when he thought he had a Pikachu bagged, Char roared out as loud as he could, scaring the Pikachu away. "What?? The salesman tricked me! I can't believe it! He gave me roar instead of Fire Blast!" Ian said angrily. "Come on Charmander, let's go find that salesman and get our money back!" But, just then, Ian felt a shake out of the Magikarp's Pokéball. The pokéball dropped, and Magikarp came out, as the gold paint chipped off of the pokéball. "What? He tricked me twice!! But, when I think about it, I need something to fight Pewter's Gym Leader with. I'll use Magikarp against him and then I'll give it back to the salesman," Ian said. So, he went through the forest and encountered another Pikachu. "Go! Magikarp!" Ian exclaimed as he threw Magikarp's ball. Magikarp popped out and Pikachu looked at it with a weird face. It used Thundershock and it looked like Magikarp was as dead as canned tuna. But, something strange happened. Magikarp started shaking, and then turned very bright. Then, Magikarp grew into a snake-like creature. "Yes! The salesman was right! Magikarp evolved into a Gyarados!!!" Ian exclaimed. Pikachu looked extremely scared and then ran and hid behind Ian's leg, shivering with fear. Gyarados growled, as if to wait for Ian's command. "Gyarados! Return! Pikachu, will you join me and my friends on our journey?" Ian asked. Pikachu, relieved, nodded and jumped onto Ian's backpack. So, Ian continues his journey to Pewter City. That's it for now, I'll do more tommorow, or maybe some more tonight.
