Nothing interesting happened along the way, until he came across a strange, fat blue pokémon. "What's that??"Ian said as he pointed the pokédex towards the pokémon. "Pikablu- the evolution of Raichu."The pokédex responded. "Actually, the correct name is Mariru," a voice said from the cave. "But, it was only a hoax conducted by someone at a pokémon convention. This is a Ditto." "Oh.. I thought there were Pikablu's... oh well, I'll just have to catch a Raichu and see.."Ian said."Hey, how about we battle? Just one pokémon each, I bet my Charmander could beat your Ditto!" "You're on!" said the trainer."Go! Ditto!" First, Ditto transformed into Charmander. Charmander used Leer, followed by Ember. Then, Ditto used Firespin. But, Charmander responded with Flamethrower, over-powering Ditto. Charmander then used Rage, and Ditto was beaten. "Good job! You're the only one, besides this boy and girl back there, who can faint my Ditto! See you around!" said the trainer as she left. Charmander acted strangely after the battle, and started to evolve. It grew a bone{hey! quick laughing you perverted freaks!} on the back of it's head, and then it's flame grew larger. Charmander had evolved into Charmeleon!! "Yeah! Charmeleon, we can take on anyone, now! Let's go!" Ian said. He walked through the rest of the cave, and ran into a a guy and a girl. Ian saw some fossils, and ran up to them. "Hey! Step back! I need one of these fossils, kid!"The girl said. "Why? I have an idea. We can both take one," Ian offered. "But, that would mean I don't get them both!"a voice said from behind them. A loud laughter sounded through the cave, and echoed through every point. A band of Zubat's woke up and flew across Mt. Moon due to the laughter. "Prepare for trouble, and make it double!" said 2 Rockets. "Oh no! Team Rocket!" said the guy. "I ran into one of you on my pokémon trainers leave!" "Ahh, Rayner, it's been a long time!"Their Meowth said. "Let's have a battle! Us 3 Rockets vs. you 3! Whoever wins gets to keep the fossils!" "Ok..."said Rayner cautiously,"But prepare to lose Team Rocket! Go! Jolteon!" Angela sent out Marowak, and Ian sent out Pikachu. "Oh No!! Not another Pikachu!!"Said one of the Rockets."Go! Lickitung! James? Uses your new pokémon!" James sent out Grimer, and Meowth fought for himself. Meowth went first, against Marowak. Meowth used Fury Swipes, but Marowak used Bonemerang and knocked Meowth out. Next up was Grimer vs. Jolteon. Grimer used Sludge and Jolteon met with pin missile. The pins went through the sludge, and it poisoned Grimer. Jolteon used Thunder and Grimer fainted. Pikachu jumped forward with his hands up and in fists, while the Lickitung came out. It used stomp and Pikachu used Thundershock, then Lickitung used Slam. Pikachu got up, used growl, and then finished off Lickitung with Thunder. "What?? This isn't the last you've seen of Team Rocket! We'll get you in the end!!" They said as they ran off. "Good. They're gone. I'm Rayner. And this girl is Angela," said Rayner. "Well, I'm Ian. I'm headed off to Cerulean Gym," said Ian. "We are too! Let's take these fossils, and we can head there together," said Angela. And, they headed off to Misty's Gym.
