Then a boy yells "Hey! I challenge you to a Pokemon battle!" "Alright!" replied Mina. "Go Butterfree" yelled the boy. Mina sent out Clefary. "Butterfree, Stun Spore!" Clefairy shook off the paralyis, though. "Clefairy, Metronome!" Clefairy's fist caught on fire! It slammed Butterfree with a powerful Fire Punch! Butterfree was down! After the battle she sees another trainer and tries to avoid her but she couldn't. The girl challenged Mina to a battle. The girl sent out Nidoran[M]! Mina sent out Zubat! "Zubat, Confuse Ray, now! Nidoranp[M] starts hurting itself! Then Zubat finishes it off with a Bite! Then the girl sends out Nidoran[F]! Zubat blows it away with a Whirlwind and Nidoran[F] hits a tree so hard it blacked out. Something was wrong with Zubat. Mina just knew it. It was swelling up and groaning."Zuuuu Zuuuu Bat Baaaaa Zuuuu.." But then Zubat flashed! When it was all over a huge Golbat stood in front of her. Then she put Golbat in his Pokeball. Before reaching Vermilion City she gos into Diglett's cave. Then a Diglett popped up and scared Mina to death! While going insane she threw a pokeball at Diglett and surprisingly caught it. While walking out of Diglett's Cave she swore she'd never go in there again. When she got to Vermilion she went straight to the gym. There were doors blocked by a code and took her an hour to figure it out! When she got to Lt.Surge she sent out Diglett. Lt. sent out Voltorb! "Diglett, Dig! "Voltorb, Tackle!" but missed as Voltorb hit the ground. Diglett attacked and Voltorb was down! "Go Pikachu!" screamed Surge. Pikachu, Swift attack now! That fainted Diglett! "Go Seadra!" "Seadra, Hydro Pump!" Pikachu fainted. Surge sent out Raichu and it used Thunderbolt which fainted Seadra. Raichu fainted every pokemon she had except for one. "Go Golbat!" Golbat used Razor Wind and fainted Raichu! Surge handed over the Thunderbadge! That's her third badge.
