From: Otaku67 <otaku67@aol.com> Subject: [PW!][NC] Mysterys of the heart Date: Tuesday, June 01, 1999 6:08 PM OOC:in my last post, i made the HUGE mistake of repeaditly calling my char. Lina. Its Tina. And now, on with the show! Tina continued down her path, after defeating brock. She picked up her pokemon from Nurse joy, and started down to Mount moon. About 15 minutes later, while stumbiling around in the dark, Tina decided she would be 30 by the time she made it out. "Go, Vulpix! Light up this path for me!" Vulpix emerged from her pokeball, and used her flame to make the dreary cave seem a whole better. "Thanks girl." "Vulpix!" She awnsered cheerfully. As Tina, Vulpix and Sandshew were walking through the cave, she bumped into a man wearing all black with a big R on the center. "Hey, my dad told me about you people! Your a Rocket!" The man chuckled quietly. "Well, give the girl a cigar. And Who might you be, you pretty young thing?" "Im Tina Inverse. Now if you don't mind, i don't want trouble, so leave me be." The Rockets eays lit up when he heard the word trouble. "Oh, Jessie...This girl dosen't want trouble..." A spotlight appeared out of nowhere, and a male and female rocket jumped onto a tall rock. "Prepare for trouble and make it double!" They shouted in unison. Tina rolled her eyes and walked off. The duo continued there little ryme, not even noticing her absense. When they had finished, the girl was nowhere to be found. "Meowth, Hey, there she goes! Lets grab her!" The two humans and cat ran after the girl, who was calmly walking down the path. "That was rather rude of you. We didnt even begin out motto, and you walked away!" James said, tears welling up in his eyes. Jessie and Meowth stared at each other. "He's finally..." "Lost it..." Whacking James with a paper fan, Jessie screamed. "Imbicile! Were supposed to steal pokemon, not give a song and dance show!" Tina stared at the 3, sweatdroping. "Um, if your done, i kinda have to get going." Meowth looked over at Jessie and James and sighed. "Go 'head kid. These two wouldnt be able to steal your pokemon if you handed it to them." Tina thanked the Meowth and ran back off. Later on, Tina began to get tired. Making her way through the mountain was turing out to be more difficult than she thought it would have. Vulpix was dealing with the various zubats that seemed to be popping up everywhere, but getting tired quickly. Tina recalled her, and Sandshrew agreed to handle things the rest of the way. 30 minutes later, Tina saw the exit, but wasent sure she could make it over there. Poor sandshrew was clinging to her back, exahusted. She sat down on the ground, and buried her face in her her arms. "How can i become a great pokemon trainer, if i can't even make it through one lousy mountain!" Hey voice echoed through the cave. "Maybe i should just give up and go back home." Just then, a bright light flashed in the cave, forcing Tina to look up. The glow seemed to be originating from her necklace. She quickly tossed it on the floor, and the image of her mother materialized. Tina blinked, wondering if the cave had finnaly gotten to her. "Do not be frightened child. Goddish himself has sent me to assist you on your journey. One day soon, a dark evil shall decend on the world. And Goddish needs a champion. Someone to stand against the evil. You have been chosen as that champion." Tina looked dumbfounded. "What do i look like, Sailor Clefairy? And besides, this isen't some lame fictional story!" Natashas hair blew to an unfeelable wind. "Do not be flippent! This is a grave matter. I know you are confused child, but the awnsers will be revealed soon. Always remember, i am will you forever more..." Natasha faded, and Tina awoke with a start. Sensing her masters troubled look, Sandshrew asked, "Whats wrong Tina? You seem upset about something." "Oh, nothing Sandshrew. Just a bad dream." Tina stood up and walked out of the cave. It was then she felt something in her pocket. She removed the item, and held it in her hands. "It..can't be" "What can't be?" Sandshrew inquired. "This..this is my mothers wedding ring. But she was buried with it..." TBC... -otaku67 Dejavu strikes when you least expect it. And it packs one helluva punch Fear leads to anger.
