From: Psy the crazed Raichu master <psyonyde@aol.com> Subject: [PW!]-Return to Celadon Date: Sunday, June 20, 1999 9:58 AM After his troublesome encounter with a gambler in the fields next to lavender, Theo captured himself a Young Vulpix, and duly returned to Celadon city to defeat Erika, the grass pokemon trainer he had never been able to prevail over before. Theo stepped up to the desk at the front of the Celadon gym. " hello young man.. what can i do for you?" Asked the receptionist politely. "You can tell Erika that Theo is back , and this time he's going to defeat her! " The receptionist ,a little confused, complied, and led Theo to the main fighting arena, where Erika was tending to her newest battling pokemon, Parasect. "Hello, Erika. I've come to challenge you again... this time, i wouldn't be too sure about your chance of winning...".Erika replied, already knowing it was Theo, " oh well ,Theo. i suppose i will have to crush you once more as i have so many times before. You really don't learn , do you??" The two combatants squared up, as Erika called" Two on two battle-i hope you are ready to lose again!". Theo sneered, and readied his two pokeballs,having asked his pokemon to get in them beforehand, so as to surprise Erika. Erika slung out her first pokemon, Victreebell.Theo hurled his first pokeball, shouting" go, Locus! attack quickly with your thunderwave!!" Locus was quick to ready himself, and spouted a fountain of thunder energy at the bulbous plant pokemon. Erika responded, caling to Victreebell-" quick, use razor leaf to disrupt that Thunder attack, and then again- dont show any mercy to a pokemon whose trainer is such a fool!" The blade leaves cloyed the wave of electricity, disrupting Locus' attack ,and then slashing past him in a flurry, causing major pain to the little psi beast.Locus,not one to give up, recovered and used a combo that he and his trainer worked out before-he leapt into the air,teleporting and reappearing riht by Victreebell, and then using ihs newset attack, Seismic toss. The plant pokemon was unable to resist, and was violently smashed to the floor, dazed and dropping leaves everywhere. " oh, i see you *have* taken some experience from our past encounters, boy. Well, let's see how you fare against my Parasect!" Erika withdrew the weary bell creature, and beamed out the hideous fungal insect, Parasect. Theo was ready, and pulled Locus in while releasing his newest pokemon, Wildfire."Wildfire, burn this abomination!" called Theo, and the little Vulpix ,with a call of "VullPIIiixx!!!" released a Flame blast that seared across the arena floor. Parasect was quick, and slid to the side, then activating his Absorb attack, causing an orb of Vulpix's energy to leave him and float across to the awating Parasect.Dismayed that his new flame pokemon, his surest bet to win the fight, was in trouble, he panicked, and was unsure of what to do. "haha! it seems like you did not learn your lesson after all ,you mess of a trainer! Parasect, finish that scraggy fox off with your mega drain attack!" The grass bug halfbreed began to drain Wildfire's energy, but the little Fox had grown to like Theo in the short time he had travelled with him, and could not stand to see his master in such dismay. The mega drain field started to dissipate, and before the Parasect could regroup itself, the fire fox had leapt above it, scattering the arena with burning embers. Parasect was bombarded with flames from above, and Erika withdrew him , hating to see her beloved plant pokemon in pain. " oh, Erika, it looks like i won this time! hand the rainbowbadge over. I guess the so called "mess of a trainer" defeated the prim and proper lady!" With reluctance, Erika handed Theo the multi-hued Rainbowbadge, and he strolled out of the gym, content with himself that he beat the bigoted girl who had many times jeered him for his image, and whose perfumery he was so utterly revulsed by. As Theo set off once more,passing by his house to say hi, and to the rock tunnel by lavender to find an Onix which he so wanted to have, a lone figure followed him from a distance, murmering softly but eeriley "ChAaaaaaaaaaaannSseEeeeeeyyyYyy...." and brandishing a large metal contraption........TBC!!!!!!
