A door bursts open and interrupts Dern's conversation with Mr. Karp. "Uh-o, gotta goooo............" Dern raced out of the room as quickly as he could. "I'll tell the story during the case." Machop walked through the door and wondered why Dern ran out of the room in a flash. "Did, I come at a bad time?" "Oh geez, Dern is still paranoid about those reporters." Mr. Karp flopped around some more. "I guess its up to the story Dern gives during the trial, I hope its good enough. --------------------------Break over---------------------------- "ORDER! ORDER! Court is now in session." The Judge banged. "Ok Mr. Karp, it is your turn to present another witness." "Well your honor, I'd like to take to the stand, DERN!" The room starts to whisper as Dern marched up to the stand. Officer Penny goes up to Dern. "Do you swear to tell the truth...blah..blah...you know the rest." She said with a grumpy face. "So Mr. Dern, can you tell us in your own words,tell us what happend during the fight?" Mr. Karp questioned. "Uh, well like Fern said, we were in the middle of the battle, until the Koffing Krew came up to save the Weezing. Suddenly out of nowhere the Grimer Gang came out to defend the Muk since it was outnumbered." "AHA! So the Grimer Gang also came out to save the Muk since it was outnumbered, correct?" Mr. Karp asked. " I OBJECT! The Grimer Gang came out to battle against the Koffing Krew because they wanted to battle them on purpose!" Mr. Hypno shouted in objection. "Overuled." The Judge replied." Mr. Dern, continue with your story." "Ok, so then the next thing i saw were the two gangs battling each other." "Hmmm, I see,sooooo was there anything you could've dont to stop the Grimer Gang?" "Well I was pretty far away from the battle and I only had control of the Muk, but not the Grimers." "AHA! So you weren't responsible for the destruction the gang caused?" "No." "Did the other trainer have any control of the Koffing Krew?" "I don't think so." A smile rose from Mr. Hypno's face. "I have no further questions, you honor." Mr. Karp flopped down. "You had control of the Muk, and he had control of the gang, correct?" Mr. Hypno questioned Dern. "Uh, yes." "Well then." Mr. Hypno turns to the jury."Then Mr. Dern here could've told the Muk to stop the gang." The room starts to go in shock. "I OBJECT YOU HONOR!" Mr. Karp shouts out loud. "If you assume my client has the power to stop the battle, then so does your client, since it too followed the Weezing's every command." The room goes in shock again. "Gulp........ I have no further questions." Mr. Hypno looks nervous........
