The sun starts to set in the west, and Marvin realizes how long he's been loitering around Cerulean City, "Well, I'm sorry girls... and... boy... I think... maybe. In any case, I must be going back to my caravan! Famifax here is tired after a long day. If one of you would like to join me tonight... feel free! I could show you all sorts of neat tricks... but just one." Famifax, the pink Ditto in Marvin's arms, squeaks out, "You donna... needsta...go causa me..." "So, if all you decide to pass up my offer, goodnight!" With that, the magician bows, throws a small capsule onto the ground, and blue smoke consumes him! When it clears, he is gone. When Marvin enters his multi-colored caravan, he sees Xerox, his purple Ditto, reading a smaller than usual novel called "The Red Ponyta." As he sets Famifax down on the floor, he says, "Hey, Xerox, that novel looks pretty basic for you. Wouldn't you rather be reading some 1000 page book like usual?" "No." Xerox mutters, almost done with the ridiculously small book, "I'm not feeling up to the challenge." Famifax, the pink Ditto, oozes over towards where Xerox is stationed, "Whyno, sis?" "I have been thinking." Xerox starts in a contemplating tone, "I've been contemplating what Mimic told me today about the cases where memories are altered. Perhaps the scientists in the Cinnabar Laboratory altered my thoughts to include Mimic and his brother, and we were never actually in any of the same experiments with them? Mimic doesn't remember anything from when he was being tested on. Do you, Famifax?" Famifax tries the best she can to remember, "I only know big bro and li'l bro causa what ya told me all this time! As far back I think, Marvy took us from totally weird dudes in white jacket! No 'member other Ditto." Marvin nods, sinking back into his favorite green bean bag chair, "That's the day they were auctioning you off on Cinnabar Island. I was so fortunate to be there, and I got the best assistants ever! Ones that don't leave me when they don't get paid... and who don't hate doing free shows." Xerox uses one of her Ditto limbs to shut the book in front of her, "I know... but if Mimic and Famifax don't remember anything about all that testing and re-testing, then I'm the only one who does. Unless D... No, I won't even say his name! Those Ditto seem to love the mention of their own name, and I'm sure they'll show up if we talk about them." "Ya mean Dop..." Famifax starts to inquire. "Silence." Xerox declares, staring at her sister. "I jusss..." "I do not wish to hear about it." "I juss wanna..." "Do not speak another word." "Whattabout Dop..." "Cease trying to finish that thought." Marvin removes his top hat and throws it in-between the arguing Ditto, "Quiet, you two! Xerox, stop thinking about your past. The present's the only thing that matters. Famifax, your sister has had a rough day, leave her alone." The Ditto Sisters, both being obedient to their trainer's commands, stop talking and walk towards separate corners of the caravan. Xerox goes back to her small novel, and Famifax hides behind the clothing racks. Marvin removes his golden bowtie and throws it aside. He reaches for his remote control and turns on the TV, to see what's on, "Hmm... Real Stories of the Pokemon Patrol... This should be interesting! Maybe they'll have more than one Jenny together in the same place! I wonder if any of those girls... or boy who's really a girl... will show up later tonight." -Marvin
