Robert shudders upon hearing a strange laugh coming from another plane of existence. Except this laugh doesn't belong to a Gastly, a Haunter, or a Gengar. It belongs to a human. The moment the laugh fades, a weird comment gets blurted out from the human ghost somewhere in the Fuschia Pokemon Center, "Man, Rob, you're quite the play'a! Hehe!" Robert spits out the waffle in his mouth and looks at Mithril-rama, "Rilli, did you hear that laughing?" "What laughing?" Mithril-rama asks while still chewing on her breakfast. "Uh oh. You're hearing voices again?" "I'm not crazy!" Robert stands up, shoving his chair back, "Well, other than crazy about you, Rilli!" The strange laughter rings out once again! Robert scratches his chin, realizing why the ghost laughs. He looks at Mithril-rama, "I love gazing into your sparkling eyes..." The chuckling doesn't stop. Robert says, "Your lips are so lush that I wish I could kiss them forever!" The chuckle from the ghost bursts out into unrestrained guffawing! Robert starts to chuckle himself, since the laugh is contagious, and he says, "I wish I was that waffle, just so you could eat me up and I could be inside you!" Mithril-rama shrinks down into her chair, embarrassed at all that Robert is saying, "What are you doing?!" "You don't hear the laughter? It's stronger than ever!" Robert looks in every direction, trying to pinpoint its origin. "I think it's coming from a ghost..." He grabs onto the first Pokeball on his belt and extends it forward, "Haunter, go!" The insane purple ghost pops out, notices the human laughing, and starts laughing himself, "HAW HAW HAW!" He floats around Robert and suddenly shouts, "Haunter!" "Listen?" Robert tries to translate what his Haunter is saying. "No, you listen, where is that laughing coming from?" Robert's Haunter flies over towards the corner and points at a decorative potted plant, "Haunt Haunter!" Robert stares at the plant, thinking that Haunter is playing a trick on him, but surely enough, the ghost of an Asian human reveals himself. The ghost floats over in front of Robert and asks, "You can see me, Rob? COOL!" "Yes... I see you! You're... a ghost?" Robert looks shocked, "I've never seen a human ghost before!" The ghost waves his hand in front of Robert, "Hello? I saw you in that big weird black mansion place on the mountain! Not that I want to remember what part of you I saw! Hahahaha! Don't you remember me? I'm Simon!" "Black Mansion?" Robert asks, trying to remember such a location, "I've never been to a place like that." "Dammit!" The ghost swears, "I've wandered into another dimension again! Anyhow, I came here looking for my body, but instead, some weird gold triangle thing told me I was the sage of Courage! It also said you're the hero!" Robert looks downward and sighs, "Yes, I know that I'm the hero... But what am I supposed to do?" Simon laughs for a moment, "You mean besides gettin' it on with your girl over here? All the triangles said was that you had to go get some 'master' sword hidden deep in the Viridian Forest! Good luck with that. I gotta go do something." "Something courageous, wise sage of Courage?" Robert asks, bowing to the ghost. Simon chuckles for a while then says, "Nah, I gotta fly to Celadon and 'check up' on some of the girls there. Hahahaha! See ya!" The ghost of Simon raises up his arms and phases through the Pokemon Center Restaurant's ceiling! Mithril-rama is staring at Robert blankly, "What the heck was all that, Robert?" Robert looks slightly more heroic now that he has a goal... the Viridian Forest. "It was the sage of Courage. We need to go to the Viridian Forest. I need to find a sword there. I am the hero." "Aren't you afraid of all the Bug Pokemon there, oh great hero?" Rilli asks, giggling at how Robert is acting. Robert nods heroically, "Yes. That's why you're coming with me. Let's go. We'll take the Pidgeot Express to Viridian!" Robert's Haunter floats over towards Robert and taps him on the shoulder with one of his disembodied hands, "Haunter... Haw Haw Haunter Haunt!
