I will now finally continue my story

Anne stuffed her pockets with the items Professor Oak had given her. She
desperately needed a back pack. If she were back on Cinnibar, she would have
just stolen one but, now that she was a trainer she could just earn money in
battle.
Anne and her Kabutops, Blade, walked outside onto the side walk looking for
someone to battle. Soon she came across two boys fighting their Pokémon.
Probably beginning trainers, they looked like they couldn't be any older than
ten, and one of them used a Bulbasaur and the other used Charmander.
The boy with the Charmander got out his Pokédex to check his Charmander's
moves, they were scratch, ember, and growl. He would be easy for Anne to
defeat, and was probably to stupid to know Kabutops is a water Pokémon.
"Charmander! Ember!" The boy commanded his Charmander. The Charmander
easily defeated the Bulbasaur.
"Bulba..." the Bulbasaur whispered as it passed out. The boy with the
Bulbasaur looked very disappointed.
"Bulbasaur, return," he said holding up a Pokéball. He walked up to the
winner and said, "Here take these, I don't really want to go anyway," he handed
the kid with the Charmander two pieces of paper. The kid with the Charmander
saw that Anne been watching.
"Wanna battle?" he asked her. He was over confident, Blade would be able to
KO his Charmander with one hit.
"Your on," said Anne. Both their Pokémon were outside Pokéballs.
"Go! Charmander!", he yelled. His Charmander out between him and Anne ready
to fight.
"Go! Blade!", Anne said. The Kabutops went out to face Charmander. The boy
pulled out his Pokédex. There was a look of surprise on his face as he realized
his mistake, his Pokémon had no chance against Blade, but now it was too late
for him to back out. He was the one to challenge Anne so she got the first
move, and probably the last.
"Blade, water gun!", she yelled. Blade shot a stream of water out of his
mouth at Charmander. It hit the Charmander, the flame on its tail went out then
it fainted. It was too easy. The boy went up to Anne and handed her one of the
pieces of paper that he had won from the other boy. It was a plane ticket to
Fuchsia City. He didn't say anything. He was probably too embarrassed about his
stupidity. He collected his Charmander in a Pokéball and left.
The plane ticket wasn't money but it was still a great prize. The first
badge wasn't in Fuchsia, but Anne was in no hurry to become a Pokémon Master,
besides, it was probably best for her to keep a low profile since the Cinnibar
police would probably be still looking for her, because of all the stealing she
had done. She shoved the ticket in her over crowded pocket was on her way.
