Subject: [PW!] An Interruption On The Way to Rilli's House Date: Wed, 07 Jul 1999 15:27:24 -0400 From: Roberto Perez-Vila <RobfromVoid@prodigy.net> Robert and Mithril-rama walk through the quaint streets of Lavender Town, on the way to Mithril-rama's humble abode. Robert looks around and sighs, "Are you sure that this is the way to your house, Rilli?" "Yes..." Mithril-rama glances at the small houses in the Town, "I think I know where my own house is!" Robert raises an eyebrow, "You *think* you know?" Mithril-rama chuckles and tries to explain, "I left Lavender Town before you did, and before that, we didn't live here much. I remember where my house is, but how to get there is what's making me dizzy... Did that make sense?" "Oh yeah..." Robert answers sarcastically, "Perfect sense." "What makes perfect sense?" A raspy voice answers from across the street, "That you're a moron?" Robert narrows his eyes at the sound of that voice... He can recognize it anywhere. He looks across the street, and surely enough, standing there with his blue-haired bimbo, is Jeremy, Robert's rival since Mt. Moon. The young man with blonde hair and blue eyes is wearing his usual white shirt and burgundy pants. "Jeremy.." "Do ya always hafta say that?!" Bambi shouts out from her place next to Jeremy. Her huge green eyes show frustration. She is wearing a tiny blue shirt that hugs her bosom closely, a very short black skirt, and flip-flops, "It's so annoying! I HATE it when you do that, and I've only seen ya like three times er somethin'! It's like... Jeremy... Jeremy... Jeremy..." Jeremy chuckles at Bambi's imitation, especially since it isn't very good. He then proceeds to glance at Robert's shirt, where his badges are displayed, "You have a measly five Badges? You shouldn't be in Lavender Town, you should be in Saffron going up against Sabrina... Or on Cinnabar Island, fighting the old fogey, since you're a backwards boy on a backwards Pokemon Journey." "Oh yeah, Mr. Smart guy?" Robert tries to sound tough, but fails miserably at it, "Well, how many badges do you got?" Jeremy rolls his eyes and points to his shirt. Eight badges are pinned there. "Take a look." Robert looks down at Jeremy's shirt, then does a double take, "Huh?! Eight badges?! Why are *you* here? You should be off facing those Elite Four people on that Plateau... I think it was a Violet Plateau... or Purple..." "Indigo Plateau..." Jeremy corrects his self-appointed rival, "...is not what I'm interested in. Collecting badges and beating the 'Elite Four' is not the most important part of a Pokemon Journey. Heck, it's the easiest part... Just beat those eight know-nothings and go up against four more ignorant fools." "So what is the most important part?" Robert asks, knowing for sure that there isn't anything more important than earning the eight badges to prove one's merit, "Huh? What's more important than badges?" Jeremy sighs to indicate Robert's wasting his time, "Robert, have you ever heard of this motto: Gotta Catch 'em All?" Bambi's eyes light up and she starts dancing around very peculiarly, "Gotta Catch 'em All, Pokemon! I wanna be the best... there ever was... to see all the rest... Yeah, that's my cause! Electrode, Diglett, Nidoran, Mankey..." Jeremy places his hand over Bambi's lips. His girlfriend gets angry and blows a bubble. When Jeremy removes his hand, it is covered in pink bubble gum. Knowing it has Bambi's saliva all over it, he licks it and smiles. Mithril-rama shudders and whispers to Robert, "The love they have for each other is scary..." Robert looks at Jeremy in his beady blue eyes, "But didn't you say you catch all the Pokemon in every area before going on to the next, or something like that?" "Indeed I did." Jeremy grins, "I'm glad you were paying attention. I wouldn't want all my words of wisdom to go to waste. Doing that left me with only 118 Pokemon. That's what brings me to Lavender Town. This crappy place doesn't even have a Gym, so I didn't bother coming here when I was in the area. Meaning I missed a very important landmark... Rock Tunnel. Though I have most of the Pokemon that live there, I'm missing one. Onix, the Rock snake." Bambi giggles and rubs her hands on Jeremy's chest, "Oooo! Rock snake! Maybe after ya catch it, I can show him my brand new Cloyster that I just evolved in Celadon! That'd be funnnn! Weeeee!" Robert, Jeremy, and Mithril-rama all sweatdrop, unsure if her comment was innocent or not. Bambi notices the silence, "WHAT? What's everybody lookin' at?" Robert clears his throat and looks at Jeremy, "So... Go along then... To Rock Mountain..." "What?" Jeremy's eyes go wide, "You mean you don't want to lose to me again? Tired of making a fool of yourself? I just so happen to have a Machoke and a Dragonair with me that never seem to evolve. Maybe you could help, like you usually do. When it comes to being a loser, you're the best! You're un-un-defeated, aren't you? The anti-champ!" Robert's eye starts to twitch, "No... That's okay... Just... run along..." Jeremy reaches into his pocket and pulls out a Pokeball, "Remember how Dragonair choked your Tauros on the Seafoam Islands? Nothing has ever beaten my Dragonair. Never! Not once! Not ever!" Robert's eye twitches much more, and he suddenly explodes into rage, "Oh yeah?! Oh yeah?! My Pikachu beat that Dragon thing when it as just a little Dragon thing and she can beat it again!" Robert plucks the second Pokeball off his belt, the one that has yellow and brown markings on it, and throws it at the ground. A curvaceous female Pikachu blinks her eyes, yawns, and stretches out her arms, "Pika, Pika?" Jeremy responds with a short laugh, and then throws out his Pokeball. A very long, smooth, graceful Dragonair appears, ready for battle. "Dragonair, Slam that rat!" "Rat?" Robert shakes his head, "I'm scared of rats. Pikachu isn't a rat. She's a... a... Pikachu!" Robert observes as his cute little yellow mouse gets whacked by Jeremy's Dragonair's tail. He clenches his teeth, "Pikachu, Thundershock!" Robert's Pikachu clenches her fists, runs in front of Jeremy's Dragonair, and releases electricity from her red cheeks, "PikaCHU!" The shock continues for a while, but Dragonair doesn't seem very hurt. "Pika?" Jeremy laughs out loud, "Dragonair is a Dragon Type, not a Water Type. There's no way the little unevolved yellow rat is going to beat it... There's no way ANYTHING'S going to beat it! It can't lose! Dragonair, Wrap!" The Dragonair Wraps itself around Robert's Pikachu. The Pikachu starts to cry out in pain at the long lasting attack. "Unevolved..." Robert watches as his Pikachu suffers. He shakes his head, reaches into his backpack, and pulls out the Thunder Stone he received as a prize a long time ago on Cinnabar Island, "Jeremy's right... Pikachu can't beat the Dragonair unless she evolves..." He throws the Thunder Stone to the ground where Pikachu can reach it. As soon as Dragonair's Wrap ends, Pikachu leaps away, and stares at the yellow radioactive stone. She looks at the stone, then back at the Dragonair, then back at the Stone. "Pika..." She walks over to the Stone and grabs it with her hands. She lifts it high above her head, and she starts to glow and change shape... Robert watches as his Pikachu evolves, wondering what she's going to look like as a Raichu. When the glow subsides, everyone stares in amazement. Robert's new Raichu is, without a doubt, female. Her once tiny legs are longer and have sexy thighs. Her now brown feet are larger, and can support her rather shapely and voluptuous body. She grabs her long tail which has a thunderbolt shape on the end, and swings it around, happy with her new form, "RAICHU!" Jeremy coughs a few times, "So what if the Pikachu evolved into a babe? Dragonair can still beat her, no matter how large her boobs are! Dragonair, Dragon Rage!" Robert blinks at his Raichu, before finally giving her orders, "Raichu, Swift!" Due to Raichu's increased speed, she gets on all fours and dashes over towards Dragonair. Stars fly from the yellow cheeks on her orange face and crash onto the Dragonair's body before it can perform the Dragon Rage. Dragonair looks like it's about to be defeated. It stumbles around less gracefully than when it's fully healed. "Raichu, Rai!" Jeremy looks over at Robert, who is smiling at his victory, "Don't count your Pidgeys before they're hatched, dumbass. Dragonair isn't about to lose for the first time. Dragonair, I said to use Dragon Rage!" He kicks his Pokemon. Dragonair narrows its eyes and lifts its head. It stares at Robert's Raichu and spews out a stream of water which behaves like blue fire... The attack hits Raichu and she disappears in it... "Raichu! RAI...." Everyone watches as the Dragon Rage subsides... Though Dragonair is very weak, Raichu is fainted. Jeremy makes a fist and pulls his arm back in joy, "YES! Still Undefeated!" He grabs Dragonair's Pokeball off the floor and is about to recall him, when the Dragon starts to glow... and shrink... Then grow. "What? Dragonair is evolving?" Robert watches through sad eyes as the Pokemon that has just defeated his Raichu finally becomes a Dragonite. He looks like an angry orange dragon standing on two feet, with a long tail and antennae. Jeremy smiles at Robert, "And so the circle is complete, and my Dragon*ite* finally has its revenge on your Raichu for the time she defeated it when it was a Dratini in Celadon City." The Dragonite frowns, stomps over to Jeremy, and kicks him in the groin! Jeremy looks at his Pokemon through pained eyes, "Wha...?" Bambi's eyes widen and she starts punching the Dragonite, "No! You bad meanie Dragon thing Pokemon! You don't hurt Jeremy like that! Only I can hurt Jeremy like that! And only when we're in bed havin' fun!" The Dragonite shrugs it off, not wanting to attack Bambi. He goes back to kicking Jeremy. Jeremy extends his Pokeball forward and the Dragonite is forced inside. Jeremy looks confused, "What the heck happened?" Mithril-rama looks like she's able to explain, "It must've wanted revenge on *you* for kicking it so many times. I saw you kick it on the Seafoam Islands and you kicked it in this battle, too. Since he gained a pair of legs when he evolved, he decided to get his revenge. Makes sense, I've been wanting to kick you repeatedly for a long time now!" "Okay, minor set back..." Jeremy grumbles, getting ready to leave, "But after I catch an Onix in the Rock Tunnel and train it, none of your Pokemon will stand a chance! Ahhh ha ha ha ha!" He stumbles away with Bambi helping him along, still hurting from all the attacks his own Pokemon inflicted on him. Robert frowns as he recalls his Raichu back into her yellow and brown Pokeball, "How could I have lost? I'm the good guy!" He suddenly remembers what Jeremy told him in Viridian City... "Nice guys always finish last..." Mithril-rama rubs Robert's shoulders, "Oh, that's not true, Robert! You're just taking your time to do things right." "Well... I guess..." Robert smiles at Rilli's gentle massage, "You're always really good at cheering me up... Now, let's go to your house so I can meet your family and wait for Mr. Fuji's Pokemon Volunteer House to open!" -Robert (( Nendil can continue this on the 10th, when she gets back. ))
