"Stop daydreaming! We have to get to Pallet Town as soon as possible." "I still don't see why we have to go to Pallet Town!" Maya whines. "It doesn't even have a gym!" "I told you a billion times. We need to get a Pokedex from Professer Oak. It'll help us big time." Maya sighs. "Okay, but I still say we should've headed straight to Viridian." When the two reached Prof. Oak's lab, he was thrilled to see them. "Angel! Long time no see! Have you finally decided to become a Pokemon trainer?" "Yeah, and I need to start as soon as possible." Angel said "What's your hurry, Angel?" Maya asked, "Melissa's already dead!" Angel glared at Maya. "Thanks for being so sympathetic," She said sarcastically. "I'm sorry about your cousin dying," Professer Oak said a LOT more sympathetically then Maya. "Is that why you want to become a Pokemon trainer?" "Yes. It was her dying wish." Angel said softly. "Here. Take these Pokedexes." Professer Oak handed a Pokedex to me and Maya. "They will help you keep track of all your pokemon." Angel and Maya thanked Prof. Oak and headed toward Viridian City.
