The room's only occupants were Car'tos, Aeris, BH, Nori, and Ros'co. "Where..?" Car'tos began. "It is of no importance." Ros'co replied, topping off Car'tos' wine glass. Nori scowled at Aeris. She was acting all sweet and innocent *now*, sure; but mere minutes beforehand, Aeris had been trying to scorch Nori and Black Hole with green fire. 'Trying, and succeeding for that matter,' Nori thought, as she brushed some soot from her singed uniform. Car'tos accepted his wife's mock kiss, and leaned in for a real one. Nori slouched back in her chair. 'I dunno what he sees in that bitch...' "Come now," Ros'co sneered, waiting for the lovers to part, "We have matters to discuss." "Ah..." Car'tos murmured, realizing that Ros'co had excused the other guests, so that they could talk privately. "By now, I am confident, that you have regained your memories, and recollect the purpose of your excursion to the Earthan planet." Ros'co began, taking a sip of his wine. Car'tos nodded. "Conquest." "That was the core objective, yes." the smaller alien mused. "However, at your request, the invasion was preempted, granting you ample time to scout the terrain." "Right." "Car'tos," Ros'co hissed, "You have learned much about the Earthan race, from your field work. You are an expert. Therefore, I seek your council.
