(Okay then, maybe I'll cut in here. If anyone objects to this, notify
me immediately. Beth, you're the only one to have read Emissary, so,
here goes....)
The "Shattered Dreams" sailed through the warp, it's twin prows
cutting a path through the tides of chaos. Swirling energies trailed
inits wake as it forged a path through the star lane, and into a new
universe
A sole figure stood out on the bridge, alone, the crew having
retreated to their quarters for the "night". Theore Jann, Wind Priest
of the Moluvia. Silver armour marked his status, and the relatively
smooth insectoid helm denoted his new appointment. His first ever
assignment for the High Lords. Though a Wind Priest for many years and
a great fighter, he had never served the Moluvium until now.
His charge was to secure the exit location of this star lane, to track
where it ended and where the safest jump locations would be. If the
auguries were correct, it would place them in an entirely new pocket
system, away from the Moluvia and the New Realm. The war was still
raging for control of Solar and the rescue of the Baron, but it was
only a matter of time.
And in the star-lane, everything was peaceful. But the winds of the
warp were fickle beings
The star lane collapsed. Warp travel was far from perfected, even for
a millenia-old race as the Moluvians. His twin pairs of hands clasped
firmly to the guiderail, the Wind Preist offered up a prayer to the
Emperor before the Shattered Dreams was hurled into the chaos of
unprotected warp space, reality trailing in its wake.

"Priest Jann! Are you alright?"
A Spiderette-mounted soldier helped the Wind Priest to his feet. His
helm was discarded, the atmosphere breatheable.
"Where are we?"
Blue grass. Scarlet skies (is this right?) It could have been Alkyr,
but for the chronograph on Theore's wrist. Seven million years into
the future.

(Could someone fill me in here? I've missed a LOT of this thread, and
don't quite know what Tie'nek looks like. Wasn't there a WG for
Tie'nek?)
(And if I can join this thread, there is fanart already scanned in for
Theore.)

"Let you not mistake your duty as I mistook my own. I came into this
village like a bridgegroom to his beloved, bearing gifts of high
religion; the very crowns of holy law I brought, and what I touched
with my bright confidence , it died; and where I turned the eye of my
great faith, blood flowed up. Beware, cleave to no faith were faith
brings blood. It is mistaken law that leads you to sacrifice. Life,
life is God's most precious gift; no principle, however glorious, may
justify the taking of it."
