He was day dreaming about building his own gym, he'd definately need money for supplies, help building it and knowledge on how to build one. He sighed, discouraged, he had very little money and barely any friends to aid him. Most of his friends were back home in Vermillion City or else they were far away on their own journies. The thought of going from city to city and collecting badges just to get into Pokémon League was extremely boring to him. Darius didn't like traveling much because when his mother died the house was repossesed, forcing him into a pokémon quest. All he really wanted was to settle down in his own place and live life the way he wanted to. The jingle of the bells above the door broke into his train of thought. He looked up and saw the old man leave, a waitress approached him and tapped him on the shoulder. "Hey kid, it's almost closing time." Darius turned his head and looked at her, "Oh, I'll pay for the drink and leave." He stood and put on his leather jacket, "How much?" "Ľ250," she replied. He shelled out the money and headed outside. The night air was cool and refreshing, Darius decided to go for a brief stroll before he headed back to the Pokémon Center. He wandered up and down the streets until he came upon a large building with flashing lights and a big neon sign that read: The Game Corner. He shrugged and entered the casino. --------------------------------------------------------TBC----------------- --------------------------------------- -- "When you look this good, you don't have to know anything." -Fry, of Futurama "We're not retreating, we're advancing in another direction." -General A.
