Date: Thursday, July 01, 1999 6:29 PM Storm took a potion out of his pack and healed his Caterpie. It only needed to gain 3 more levels to evolve into Metapod. "Hey, kid!" he shouted. There was no reply. No one left to fight to let Caterpie gain levels....it looked hopeless. Then Storm looked at Rose. "Oh no." she said. "You aren't fighting me!" 5 minutes later....... "Go Caterpie!" "Go Oddish!" "Caterpie! String Shot!" Oddish was wrapped up in a thick string. "Sleep Powder Oddish!" The powder wasn't able to escape the string, however, and Oddish fell asleep. "Hah hah! Now Tackle!" Oddish flew hard, into a wall. Storm didn't know if it was fainted or sleeping until he lifted the string. Oddish was only sleeping. He then got up. "Oddish! Don't fail! Absorb!" Some of Caterpie's energy was taken. Caterpie looked hurt. "Caterpie! Tackle again!" Oddish was clearly fainted this time. Storm gave Caterpie a potion and prepared to fight again. "Go Diglett!" "Caterpie! Tackle now!" "Diglett! Dig!" Diglett was too fast and pulled its head underground. When it came up, Caterpie was uprooted from the ground, and fainted. After some of Storm's "healing magic (?)" Caterpie was ready to fight again. "I choose Bellsprout!" said Rose. "Caterpie! Tackle!" Bellsprout's fragile body was hit hard. "Bellsprout! Don't give up! Sleep Powder!" Caterpie crawled out of the way. "Caterpie! Tackle again!" Bellsprout fainted. It's fragile body was about to snap like a twig. "Grrrrr......" growled Rose. "Pokedex, need anyalasis on Caterpie's level." said Storm "Caterpie is now level 13." replied the Pokedex. "DANG! I need one more level!" yelled Storm. "And I'm all out of pokemon" said Rose. Then Rose heard a noise. "TRIO TRIO TRIO!" "Storm! Fight that Dugtrio with Caterpie! It will definitly give you the level you need!" "OK........" Storm said nervously. "Caterpie! Attack the Dugtrio over there with String Shot!" One of the Dugtrio heads was wrapped up in string. Dugtrio dug underground at the speed of light, and the string fell off the middle head. Caterpie was uplifted into the air..when it started to glow! "Yeah!" shouted Storm. "Metapod!" Metapod fell down, dealing a crushing blow to the Dugtrio. Dugtrio ran away, frigtened. "Alright! Metapod! Tackle the rocks repeatedly!" said Storm. Eventually, the rocks were clear. Storm, Rose, and the kid came out. As they arrived into the sunlight again, there was a huge crowd of people, cheering. Storm and Rose walked to the pokemon center, but were mobbed by media and reporters along the way. "That skill Metapod has is useful........maybe I shouldn't evolve it!" TBC!
