The circumstances are different, so he’s acting a bit different, okay?) The Aerodactyl set down in Viridian, and Mondo finally was able to catch his breath. "What’d I tell ya? Wild ride," laughed Shard. "Wow," gasped Mondo, "we escaped." "of course we escaped," said Shard. Mondo led Shard to the Viridian City gym. The two walked to the Rocket Center of Operations, and Mondo excitedly begun a conversation with the secretary, while Shard read an outdated magazine. Shard overheard Mondo saying things like "A meeting with the boss? Fantastic!" and "When are sempai-tachi due back?" *Brown noser* thought Shard with a grin. Some time later, Shard felt a tap on his shoulder. He put down the Magazine to see Mondo in his face. "Ever hear of personally space?" asked Shard sourly. Mondo, still cheerful, began to speak. "The boss wants to meet with me," he said, "but you should wait here. Cool?" "Whatever," said Shard distractedly, picking the magazine back up. *** Shard STILL could not believe that Mondo had been assigned to check his efficiency and such. And the catchphrase "little brother is watching" was beginning to annoy him. Everything he did was criticized: "No, no! Bad technique! That's going on report! Ack, don't fly reckless like that! I better get a REALLY super assignment after this!" Shard had had enough "Look, Bongo, why the hell are you watching me? It’s not like I have an assignment!" he snapped. "It’s MONDO! MONDO!" shouted Mondo as three figures appeared on the horizon. "There you are, Mondo!" said Jessie cheerfully, "The golf game isn’t over yet! We’ve had it on hold three days because you disappeared! Come back and caddy again, okay?" "Yeah, I don’t wanna be the only one humiliated like this!" added Meowth in protest. "You still want me to caddy for you, Jessie? Fantastic! See you, Shard, sempai-tachi need my help!" said Mondo as he and "sempai-tachi" vanished into the horzon.
