Subject: [PW!] Nova's BIG problem! He walked towards the woods that bordered the path. After walking into the woods for a while, he noticed a large, fat blue blob! "What could that be?!" he said aloud in his astonishment. After looking at his pokédex, he realized what it was.... the backside of a Snorlax! He walked towards the front of it and was acknowledged by a questioning look from the pokémon. "Don't worry, I promise I won't hurt you." said Nova, consolingly. This eased the Snorlax, who saw somethig in Nova. He saw that Nova had helped many pokémon in the past. Snorlax smiled and got up. "There we go," said Nova, smiling up at his friend, "now, where is your trainer?" The Snorlax brought him back out to the path and pointed forward with a grunt. They walked that way for several hours, stopping occasionally to eat and drink. After a while, it had turned dark, and they could see bright lights in the distance. "Look! It's Vermilion City!" Nova shouted excitedly. The Snorlax grunted happilly and jumped, which caused a disturbing earthquake. The Snorlax looked down at Nova apologetically, and Nova said it was okay. They reached the city and got to the pokémon center. Nurse Joy allowed them in, even though it was quite late. They both slept in the lobby, though it was hard for Nova with Snorlax's loud snoring. In the morning, he had an even tougher time waking it up. After many zany attempts to wake him up, he finally remembered a flute that a strange old man had given him in return for a lot of food. He played a catchy tune, and Snorlax awoke. After having breakfast and getting dressed and stuff, Snorlax started to grunt loudly and point. "What's wrong, Snorlax?" said Nova, surprised. The Snorlax ran through the halls of the pokécenter, awakening anybody or pokémon who had been sleeping. He reached and room and swung the door open. He smiled very happilly and looked at the room's inhabitants. "What?! I thought I left you back in the forest, you big loser!" yelled a scrawny little kid to the Snorlax. "Hey! Don't talk to pokémon that way!" said Nova. "I can talk to it however I want to!" said the kid. Snorlax looked extremely rejected and plopped down and started crying. "Oh stop crying, you giant baby! You're starting to annoy me!" said the kid in an irritated tone. "Fine then! If you don't want the Snorlax, I'll take care of him!" said Nova. At this, the Snorlax stopped crying immediately and looked up at Nova. "Huh? No way! He's still mine!" said the little kid. Nova was beginning to get annoyed with his whiny voice. "Fine, I'll challenge you to a pokémon battle, and the winner keeps Snorlax!" said Nova. "Haha! No problem! Let's step outside!" replied the little dorky kid. Him and Nova left the building, and went to a small clearing outside. "For my pokémon, I'll choose Jynx!" said the kid, and he threw a pokéball. Out popped a Jynx. Nova hated Jynxes, and didn't consider them pokémon. "Allright, I choose.... Omastar, go!" said Nova as he tossed a pokéball. Out popped his tentacled freind. "Jynx, use your ice beam!" said the kid. Jynx stopped and it's eyes turned icy blue. Then, it shot out a beam at Omastar! It hit Omastar, but Omastar barely flinched. The kid's mouth almost dropped to the ground! "Hehe. Better train your Jynx better. Now, Omastar, blizzard attack!" said Nova sharply. Omastar's eyes narrowed, and it's tentacles rose above it's head. A chunk of ice formed on the tips of each one, and the chunks all shot up at once. They created a cloud of ice which was floating above the Jynx's head. All of a sudden, chunks of ice started pelting the Jynx from above! The Jynx had been totally defeated, and Nova won! "Yeah! We did it, Omastar! We have a new friend!" He brought Omastar towards his new Snorlax, totally ignoring the kid's whimpers and insults. "Allright Snorlax, do you wanna' come with us?" Nova held out his pokéball. Snorlax jumped in without a second thought of anything, and Nova and his pokémon were all happy! THE END!!!
