We'll wait here." [Killing time scene switch] "Seth? Mimic have better idea. Friend of Mimic's be at Pokestock. May be able help. She...err, Sabrina-level powerful. Very good at what does. Mimic realize may be at Pokestock. We check there first, then try Tower if that no work?" Completely out of ideas, and with a declining will to decide his own fate while Aerie remained helpless, Seth merely nodded. "Great. Let's go." Mimic shifted into a Pidgey - so that Aerie being carried would not look that unusual - and took off with two passengers. [Time, R.I.P. scene switch] Sabrina hung up the phone and pondered. Mimic was hiding something; she could tell that even without her powers. Why else would he ask her to come to Pokestock to cure his friend, rather than bringing said friend directly to her gym? Too bad her powers required proximity, or at least an idea of where the target was; he had hung up before the call could be traced, even if she had had equipment to do so. And then there was this concept of granting favors for a friend of a friend. True, they were both friends of Professor Oak, but the concept still rankled her. Maybe it was the notion of "friend" in general - she accepted Haunter and her parents, but anyone else was still potentially a plaything...not *her*, therefore with no inherent rights. But, a promise was a promise, and the promise to help escaped her lips before she could properly lock her tongue in response to Mimic's plea. She would come...if for no other reason than to discover what that Ditto was hiding. TBC? > (I'm beyond lost and permanently braindead.
