Here goes, my second PW. After months (okay, it was more like weeks) of walking, Adrianna finally saw a shimmer of grey on the horizion. "Jigglypuff!" shouted the little Pokemon, pointing at the drap buildings of Pewter. "YAHOOOOO!!!!!" shouted Adrianna, breaking into a run. "Let's get a Boulder Badge, Jigglypuff!" "Jiggy!" said the little 'puff. "Oh, right. I promised to get you all patched up, didn't I. Okay, let's get that done," said Adrianna, nodding at the little Pokemon. A few minutes later, Adrianna was at the Pokemon Center in Pewter. Nurse Joy looked over Adrianna's Pokemon. "Well, besides the bite they're in pretty good condition. I'll get your Jigglypuff fixed up quick," said Nurse Joy, picking up the pufball. "Thanks," said Adrianna. After about an hour of Pokedex reading, Nurse Joy brought back Jigglypuff from the examination room. "Good as new," she said. "Thanks!" said Adrianna, running out of the Center. "Now, let's get a badge!" *** As Adrianna entered the Gym, Brock stepped out of a side door, pushing away a defeated opponent. He looked at Adrianna. "You want to battle me, right?" "Yeah." "Two Pokemon," Brock said. "Alright." Within moments they were standing on Brock's rocky battlefield, ready to fight. "Geodude, go!" "Jigglypuff, go!" The two Pokemon squared off, looking at each other. "Geodude, tackle attack, now!" yelled Brock. "GEO!" yelled Geodude. It put out its shoulder and ran toward Jigglypuff. "Jigglypuff, watch out!" cried Adrianna. The Geodude rammed headlong into Jigglypuff. "PU PU PUFF!!!!" yelled Jigglypuff. It got back on its feet. "Jigglypuff, Doubleslap attack!" yelled Adrianna. Jigglypuff ran and slapped the Geodude. "Puff!" it cried, drawing away its hand. "Physical moves can't hurt rock Pokemon, kid," said Brock. "Geodude, Rock Throw!" Geodude picked up a rock from the ground and hurled it at Jigglypuff. The puffball jumped out of the way just in time as the rock careened into the gym wall. "Jigglypuff, use sing!" said Adrianna. She pulled out earmuffs from her duffel and placed them on her head. "Jiiigly puff jiggy puff jiggy... jigglypuff jiggy jiggy pufff..." the song went on and on as Geodude's eyes closed. It was soon asleep on the ground, snoring softly. "Geodude, return!" said Brock, who had stuck earplugs in his ears. "Onix, go!" The huge rock snake coiled out of the Pokeball and gazed down on the little Jigglypuff. "J-jiggy!" cried Jigglypuff. "Jigglypuff... use sing again!" yelled Adrianna. "GRONNIX!" yelled the Onix. "J-jiggly puff jiggy puff jiggly... j-jiggly puff- JIGGY!" Jigglypuff was thrown into the air as Onix headbutted it. It banged against the top of the gym and fell to the ground. "Jigglypuff, return! Go, Charmander!" yelled Adrianna. "Ha!" said Brock. "Fire can't hurt Onix!" "Oh really? Maybe it was good I had an hour to study my Pokedex," she said. "Charmander, slash attack! Go for its eyes!" "Char!" said the Charmander. It jumped up to the huge Onix and began to slash. Onix recoiled with a shout and looked wildly around for its advesary. "Smart! But not smart enough! Onix, bind attack!" said Brock. The blinded Onix thrashed about, looking for the Charmander. "Charmander, flame thrower to its eyes!" yelled Adrianna. Jigglypuff had finally loped off the gym floor and sat at Adrianna's feet. Charmander's flame missed the Onix by a hair as it thrashed around, still looking. "Charmander return! Jigglypuff, go!" yelled Adrianna. "Jiggy!" yelled Jigglypuff, feeling a little better now. "Jigglypuff, sing!" yelled Adrianna. "Jiggly puff jiggy puff jiggy Jigglypuff jiggypuff jiggy! Jigglypuff jiggy-" Onix's eyes began to close and it rolled to one side, asleep. "Onix, return. Good job," said Brock. Jigglypuff slumped down to the ground, its injures now taking full effect. "Get him to the Pokemon Center. You got the Boulder Badge," said Brock, nodding. He took out the greyish badge and handed it to Adrianna. "WHAHOOO!!! I got the Boulder Badge! I got the Boulder Badge!" yelled Adrianna, dancing around. "You're a little crazy around the edges, aren't you?" asked Brock. "Yeah, so?" "Never mind. Get outta here," said Brock.
