That was the location of the next badge that they had to get. "I want to catch another pokemon," Shock said to Scy. "Maybe," Scy said. Meanwhile..... "Oh, dear," Nurse Joy said, "Oh, dear." "What is it?" Zephyr asked her. "I have a message for someone named Scy," She said. "I know someone named Scy," Zephyr said. "Could you give this message to him?" Nurse Joy asked. She handed Zephyr a note to give to Scy. "I'll get it to him," Zephyr promised. He ran out of the poke center and raced to catch up to Shock and Scy. -------------------------------- Shock and Scy were leaving Viridian City and about to enter the route between Pallet Town and Viridian. Shock didn't know why they had left Pallet Town after they had recently arrived. And he didn't know why they had gone back to Viridian. Scy had wanted to go there, but he had refused to tell Shock why they had gone back. "Hey, wait!" A voice called, "Scy, wait!" Scy and Shock looked back and saw Zephyr running up behnd them, carrying a note. "What iss it?" Scy asked Zephyr when he came close enough to talk without shouting. "I have a note for you Scy," Zephyr said as he handed Scy the note. Scy unfolded the note and began to read it. "Oh," Scy said dropping the note. "I'm going to go home for a while. Maybe I will see you some other time." "Umm, okay," Zephyr said as he watched Scy take out Stalker and climb apon it. "Sstalker, let'ss fly home!" Scy cried out. Stalker lifted Scy into the air and soon, Scy had flown into the distance. "What was on the note?" Shock asked Zephyr. "I don't know," Zephyr said. Shock reached down and picked up the note, and began to read it: To Scy: Your mother has fallen ill. Please return home at once. "Scy's mother is sick," Shock informed Zephyr. "He went home to help her." "Oh," Zephyr said, "I hope she'll get better soon." "Yeah," Shock said. "Since I was going with Scy to Cinnibar, Maybe you could come with me to Cinnibar." "Well, I already got the volcano badge," Zephyr said. "I'm heading to Celedon City." "Hmmmm," Shock said. "Well, I still haven't gotten the thunder badge from Vermilion City..." Shock didn't want to go to Vermilion City. He had gotten kicked out of the local gym by Lt. Surge and had been told not to come back. Then Shock had run away from home. "But Vermilion City is not on the way to Celedon," Zephyr said. "Yes it is," Shock said. "If we take Diglett's Cave, we will end up right near Vermilion City. But i don't remember where the other entrance to the cave is." "I don't know either," Zephyr said. "I guess we'll just have to look for it." "And then we won't have to pass through Mt. Moon again," Shock said, remembering that Zubat that attacked Scy and him last time they had passed through the mountain. "Let's head to Diglett's cave," Zephyr said..."Or, at least start looking for the cave." "Okay," Shock said. TBC.........?
