Spotting an item ball lying on the ground, she picked it up. "Cool! TM35, Metronome!" After a moment of thought she taught the move to Clefable. She then continued on to Cerulean- and was struck by the city's beauty. "Wow...." breathed Serayna. "It's beautiful...I suppose you're going home now, Vicky." Vicky nodded and headed for her home, shouting "See ya, Serayna!" Serayna waved as Vicky disappeared from sight. She then continued on to Misty's gym. Serayna stepped inside and was amazed at all the water. She looked around cautiously. All of the trainers were gone, so Serayna continued to the back of the gym and found Misty there. "Um-hi, you must be Misty," stammered Serayna. "I've come to challenge you." Misty smiled and said, "OK. Misty calls, Staryu!" Staryu appeared when Misty threw the Pokéball to the ground."OK....I choose, Clefable!" Clefable appeared with a cry of "Cle clefable!" "Staryu, water gun!" The Staryu used its water gun attack on Clefable, who was only slightly weakened. "OK Clefable, Metronome!" Clefable used Metronome and got Self-Destruct. Both it and the Staryu fainted. "OK, Staryu return! Misty calls, Starmie!" Serayna laughed and used a Max Revive on Clefable who was in action once again. "Starmie, airborne tackle!" cried Misty. Starmie spun through the air, coming straight for Clefable, who dodged the attack. "Clefable, use Metronome again!" This time, Clefable got Explosion. It again fainted but so did Starmie. "Starmie, return!" said Misty, recalling Starmie. "That was a good match. You deserve this Cascade Badge." Misty tossed the badge to Serayna and went to heal her Pokémon. Serayna pinned the badge on her backpack next to the Boulder Badge and exited the gym.
