Pulling her helmet off of its hanging nail, she strapped the helmet on, got on her bike and rode out of the garage. She decided to go see Blaine and tell him goodbye. Kicking the kickstand up, she rode off along Cinnabar Road 7, which led to Blaine's gym and was located close to her house. Serayna pulled the gym door open and was hit by a blast of intensely hot air. Gritting her teeth she continued forward till she reached Blaine. His eyes lit up when he saw her. "Ah, Serayna! Welcome back. I haven't seen you in a while." Serayna smiled and said, "I'm going to be starting my Pokémon quest today. I came to say goodbye." Blaine handed her something. "Here, take this. You can use it on Abra." Serayna accepted the Psywave TM. "Where did you get this?" she asked. Blaine replied, "I've had it ever since one trainer beat me and felt sorry for me, so he gave me Psywave. I knew I would find someone who needed it more than me." Serayna tucked the TM into her backpack. "See you around, Blaine!" She wheeled her bike outside, then got on and rode away.
