From: Dreadite <blorch@ix.netcom.com> Subject: [PW!] Shards of Dreadite Date: Thursday, July 01, 1999 4:40 AM P;OTP: Stuff happened.. Read them "summaries". Dreadite stepped out of an elevator, far below one of the Cinnibar labs. The doors closed behing him with a ping as he walked down the dark, unadorned hallway in front of him. The echose of the pinging mingled with the sound of his boots on the marble floor. He walked up to a closed door, and stopped. "Dreadite." The door swung open. Dreadite walked inside, and flicked on a monitor. Giovanni's face appeared. "Sir, Dreadite reporting," Dreadite said, sitting down on the office chair in the empty office. Giovanni turned his chair to face the monitor. "Good, I was just about to have someone locate you. You have an assignment." "A assignment?" Dreadite echoed Giovanni's words like a question. Giovanni nodded before continuing. "Yes. You are to attack the recently located ATR operation.. on an island south of where you are. We don't know much about it, so this is just a preliminary attack, understand? I'm sending our new recruit, Shard, work with you." Dreadite's response was unsuitable for most ears. <Scene switch> "Shard," said Giovanni, "If you don't shut up and do as I said, you're Persian Chow!" "But DREADITE?" protested Shard. Persian meowed in the background. "Um, got it, roger, Shard out." Shard sighed. Life was cruel. Why did the boss pair him with Dreadite, anyhow? Shard stepped out of the monitor room, and walked towards the waiting helecopter. <Scene Switch> Dreadite kicked the chair, and walked towards the elevator. Why did the boss have to pair him with Shard, anyhow? Recruits were always so foolish. Dreadite pressed the button for the elevator, and stepped in. It broke down halfway up the shaft. "This is NOT my day." Dreadite said, and swore. He called service. TBC?
