Have you two ever heard of 'Pokésoft'?" * * * "Thank you, Professor Oak," said Rigel, holding a brand-new Pokédex in her hands. She eagerly stuffed it into her pocket. "You're welcome, Rigel." "I think it's time for me to head to Viridian City. Come on, Staryu." Her Staryu was released from its Pokéball. Staryu was her favorite Pokémon, and she decided it must be unhappy being stuck in the Pokéball for so long. She turned to Professor Oak. "Bye!" Rigel walked through the door. "Good luck on your journey!" shouted Professor Oak as she headed for the route to Viridian City. She turned and waved, then quickly disappeared in the tall grasses. After a few minutes of paving through the tall grass, she crashed into something, causing her to fall down. Frightened, she started to get back on her feet. "Oh, I'm sorry." A tall teenage Pokémon trainer stood high above her. He smiled wryly. "Want to battle?" Rigel was still scared, but she began to regain her confidence. "Sure. Two Pokémon each? Alright." "I'll choose Electabuzz as my first Pokémon." Electabuzz leaped out of its Pokéball and started clearing a large area of grass for the battle. "EBLUBLUBBLUBLUB!" yelled Electabuzz, tearing out grass and throwing it to the side. "Hmm... Staryu wouldn't do so well," thought Rigel. She returned the released Pokémon to its Pokéball. TBC...
