Neither side seemed to notice him, they were too busy shooting each other. The formerly pristine white sands had been stained red with the blood of the rockets and atrs that littered the beach. Exploded wigglytuffs were everywhere, their saucer shaped eyes frozen in expressions of perpetual glee, as if getting some joke that no one else got. A few downed TR choppers could be seen, their expensive mechanical innards spilling onto the beach, to become tommorows trash. In the end nothing changed except that TR's and ATR's ranks were thinned considerably. The rockets had been repulsed from ivory island but not at great cost to the ATR's and both sides would make up the losses with new recruits. X-13 watched it all from a dune overlooking the beach and felt an emotion almost totally alien to a machine of war: Sadness. There seemed to be no point to it all. X-13 decided to swim to the mainland he picked a random direction and started swimming in it, his wigglytuff body floating.
