He turned to the Growlithe next to him, "well this is it my first gym match." He reached towards the door and found the knob. He turned it and pulled the door open. "Hello? Is anybody here?" He asked. "Kid, I'm standing right in front of ya." A gruff sound voice said. "Are ya blind?" Jason nodded his head. "Actually yes, I am." "Well whatever. You're my next challenge right?" Jason nodded. "Yes." Surge walked to the other end of the ring which matches were fought in. "This will be a one on one match. And don't expect me to go easy on ya either. Go pokeball!" Jason heard the sound of a pokeball bouncing on the smooth gym floor, after bouncing three times, something emerged. "Raichu!" Jason reached down to his belt and took both of the pokeballs there, holding one in each hand he knelt down to Inferno. "Ok Inferno, which one has Sandstorm in it?" "Growl Growl!" Inferno pawed the pokeball in his left hand. "You're sure now?" Jason asked knowing he didn't have a chance if he sent out Talon, his Spearow. "Growl" "Go Sandstorm!" He pitched the pokeball. He heard a thudding sound. Then an indignant sounding, "Rai CHU!" Jason wondered what had happened. "Hey dat ain't fair hitting my Raichu with dat pokeball!" Surge called from across the room. "Sorry I can't see where I throw it!" by this time Sandstorm had emerged from his pokeball and was waiting patiently for instructions. "Alright let's start this match Raichu, Thunderbolt!" Jason heard a zapping sound. No damage to Sandstorm. "Sandstorm Dig!" Sandtorm used his digging claws to lift up one of the floor boards, he dissapeared underneath it. He reappereared a moment later underneath Raichu. "Rai yie yie" Raichu said falling on his back, dazed. "Raichu, get up and use Body Slam." Raichu got up on shakey legs and shook his head. "Sandstorm quick while he's still dazed slash him. Sandstorm got down on all four legs and ran towards the dazed mouse and gave him two quick slashes. Raich fell over backwards defeated. "Well kid looks like you earned this." Surge said tossing him a Thunderbadge. Inferno leaped up and caught it, then gave it to Jason. After Jason pinned it on his Jacket.
