Cloud underhandedly defeats a cocky young Pidgeot trainer, to find that Pokémon Island is a place for unique and powerful species. Cloud is in search of information on how to get there. -===---===--===---===--===---===- Cloud, Corsair on his shoulder, stood in the office of the Safari Zone's warden. "Naw, can't help ya son. Don't have a clue on how ta get there.." All previous inquiries had ended up as such. The only place in Fuschia he hadn't tried was the gym, but no way would Koga know, and if he did he wouldn't give information to Cloud. Especially after he had led all but 1 of his Pokémon to use the technique "Explosion".. before the match had even started. Cloud sighed. It seemed like there was no way in heck that he would be able to find this place. He walked outside, and sat down on a hill by the local Pokémon Center. "BUTTERFREE!" In one fast motion, Cloud removed two Shuriken from inside his jacket, and flung them whilst turning around. He looked forward, hands at his sides, open. Before him was a silver Butterfree, Shuriken stuck into each of his wings, holding him to a tree. A young boy ran to him, desperately trying to pull the throwing stars out from its wings. The Butterfree itself shrieked in pain. "Kid, where'd you get a Butterfree of that color?" The boy spoke between grunts, feet against tree, hands connected to each star. "Who.. ergh.. wants.. to know?" The kid said indignantly. "You look like a Rocket to me.." Cloud's hands tightened. "Kid.. your Butterfree may look special, but I'm sure it'll taste the same to my Charizard." He began to take out a Pokéball, but Corsair shrieked high enough to scare the kid into not making a move. He stuttered. "Pppokkemon Isslllannndd, sisiirrrr.." "And where would this Pokémon Island be, eh?" "Hhehere.." he rummaged through his backpack and turned up with a crumpled old flyer. Cloud snatched it, and looked it over. He folded it, and placed it inside his jacket. He released Tyrant, and climbed on.
