If nobody else is > turning in, then good night and see ya' in the morning..." Mithril-rama yawned in agreement. "Sleep'd be nice. I'm worn out from biking all day..." She began cleaning up her food. "I can save this orange for another time... Are you coming, Robert?" "Sure!" Robert exclaimed. Realizing he may have sounded a bit too eager, he turned to the rest of the diminishing group, who have their eyebrows raised. "To... sleep, of course!" Christy and Runt only nodded mutely. The Pokémon Center's restaurant is nearly empty, apparently not having a busy night. The only other customer at a table is an older boy with dark blond hair, who was alternatively shoveling food into his mouth and muttering at a photograph in his hand. Rilli deposted their trash into the garbage can near the exit, while Robert went ahead to check in a room at the front desk. She joined him just as Nurse Joy was handing him the keys. "...And this one's for the laundry room, and this one's for the ice machine!" The pink-haired nurse dropped the last key into Robert's cupped hands. He blinked. "Uh, we're only staying here for one night..." "That doesn't mean you might not need to use our facilities!" Nurse Joy wagged her finger and pushed the two trainers towards their room. "Now go and get your sleep!" Rilli looked up at the door in front of them. "I hope you kept track of which key is the one to the room." Robert sweatdropped. "So do I..." ~ A lonnnnng time later... okay, maybe 5 minutes. ~ "This is the last key!" Robert held up the small piece of metal triumphantly. "It must be the one..." He jiggled it in the doorknob. It didn't fit. "Nooo! But I'm sure Nurse Joy gave me a key to the _door_..." Rilli peered at the keyhole. "Uh, I think the keys are supposed to fit the other way... try flipping them around..." ~ Another 5 minutes later... ~ "Yes! Success!" Robert cheered as a small *click* sounded in the lock. He turned the knob... but the door wouldn't open. "Hey, what gives?" "Uh... the deadbolt's locked too, looks like..." "Argh!" ~ 5 more minutes later ~ "Hooray," Rilli cheered tiredly as the door finally opened. She sprawled onto the bed and kicked off shoes and socks while Robert headed into the bathroom to change. By the time he was done, Rilli was already asleep. Nendil -- The Aquafraternal Fanart Corner http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Island/2733
