From: Josh <diane@magicnet.net> Subject: [PW!] Episode 2, Ponyta...caught by Zane Date: Sunday, August 22, 1999 1:57 PM -Ponyta…caught by Zane!-Episode 2 After finding a tree full of apples being guarded by a Ponyta, Zane immediately sends Squirtle to take him down. Squirtle dives towards the Ponyta, stopping feet short of him. Ponyta stares at Squirtle, then charges at him. Squirtle, still not completely healed, barely dodges the attack. "Alright Squirtle, Tail Whip now," says Zane. Squirtle then runs around Ponyta, lowering it's defense. After Squirtle stops, Ponyta then uses his ember attack on Squirtle. The fire engulfs Squirtle, burning him partially. Squirtle then falls to the ground. All is silent at the fight. Zane, worried about his Pokemon and friend, starts to walk towards him. He stops when he sees movement in his Pokemon. Squirtle very weakly gets up. With defeat on his mind, and anger in his heart, Squirtle attacks Ponyta once again. Squirtle runs toward Ponyta and does his tackle attack on him, but Ponyta dodges the attack and tries using his ember attack again, but this time, Squirtle dodges the attack. At a distance of five yards away from each other, Squirtle uses his Water Gun attack on Ponyta. Ponyta loses his footing for a second, then stand up again. "Alright Squirtle," says Zane, "Finish him off with your Bubble attack." Squirtle, listening to his master's words, realizes that Ponyta will try to avoid the attack, so attack in a different direction than Ponyta is standing. Surely enough, it works, and Squirtle's Bubble attack hits Ponyta, making him fall. "Good job Squirtle," says Zane, "Your mine now, Ponyta." Zane then throws a Pokeball at the weakened Ponyta. All is silent once again, while the Pokeball steadily shakes. Seconds pass…and the Pokeball stops shaking. Zane and Squirtle both let out a sigh of relief, and briefly sit down. Zane then walks to the tree and takes down nine apples. He walks back to Squirtle and gives him three apples, keeps three for himself, and puts three in his pockets for Ponyta. After the two finish the apples, they both get up. "You did a good job Squirtle. Get in the Pokeball and take a rest," says Zane. "Squirtle Squirtle," he says, while nodding his head. He walks up the Pokeball and pushes the button to zap himself back in. Hours pass and Zane starts to get tired of the walking. He starts to look up at the sun, trying to stay awake. While he is looking up, he runs into a sign, it hitting him right in his…crotch. He falls to the ground, very soar and hurt. He slowly recovers, and looks at the sign. ________ | Thunder | | Forest | | à | |_______ | | | | | | | He immediately starts to smile, and runs in the direction of Thunder Forest, thinking that their must be food and Pokemon in the forest. Will their be a lot of Pokemon in Thunder Forest? What kind of Pokemon will be in Thunder Forest (Duh, electric Pokemon)? Will Zane's two Pokemon be enough to defeat the Electric Pokemon? I sure as hell don't know. I'll write the next one as soon as possible.
