Little hearts appeared in her eyes as her red-haired hunk embraced her...her eyes opened...and she screamed. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Her mother burst into her daughter's room in time to see a variety of things. The first of which was her daughter flinging the covers back on her back and vaulting out the other side. The second was a Psyduck flying off the bed and getting her head embedded into the wall. The third was her daughter screaming at said embedded Psyduck. "Migraine! You KNOW not to hop on my bed like that and scare me!" AKai straightened her nightshirt and walked across the room, sighing. Her mother slapped her forehead and walked out again. "Breakfast is ready, honey." "I'll be down soon, ma." The door closed, and Akai finally pulled her Psyduck from the wall. Migraine clutched her head and whimpered. "Psyyyyyy!" "Well I'm sorry, but you shouldn't sneak up on me like that!" "Psyyy..." It glomped onto her trainer, giving her an apologetic hug, and hopped to the floor. Akai went over and quickly got dressed. "Where're Whiplash and Camouflage?" Migraine blinked, stood there for about 30 seconds, then walked over to Akai's bed, peering under. A sleeping Bulbasaur let out quiet snoring noises. Migraine opened her mouth and sprayed it with a quick blast of water. "BULBA!" Whiplash tumbled back out of the other side of the bed, and into the wall, little swirls in her eyes. "Bulbaaaa..." Migraine paid no mind, and stood back up, walking towards a wall. There, it poked a spot in front of it. "Ryyy!" Akai blinked and was in the process of calming Whiplash down, when her Porygon turned back to it's normal colors. It pecked Psyduck on the head. "Rrryyy!" "Psy-yiieeee" "Guys, would you calm down? C'mon, let's get some breakfast." "Bullll..." "Rrryyyy!" "Psy?" "Just c'mon!" She opened her door and walked downstairs. Her parents were already at the table, eating away. "Hi guys!" Akai said somewhat cheerfully. "I'm gonna head out today ya know." Her father mumbled from behind his paper. Her mother rolled her eyes. "That's nice dear...do you have everything? Money, medkit, fresh change of underpants..." "Mo-THER! I'll be FINE!" Camouflage and Whiplash were on the floor, eating pokefood. Migraine had her own place at the table, and was quite happy eating bacon at the moment. "Psyyyy!" "Oh, it's going to be so quiet around here without these three loons around." "Don't worry, ma, I'll come by and visit once in a while!" Breakfast finished up rather uneventfully, and Akai got her things together. Three Pokeballs, just in case her pokemon got hurt, clothes, bottled water, band-aids, oitment, and of course money. Migraine and Camouflage were sucked into their pokeballs, which were tucked into a side pocket on her backpack. Whiplash always walked out of her pokeball. Simply for the reason that she never stayed inside one. With a final wave, she set out. Well...the Viridian Gym was open....but she wasn't nearly strong enough to take on the leader there. The Earth Badge would have to wait. "Let's go, Whiplash." She looked around town, then set out towards the forest. -- Reg
