Finally Mary(Formally Maria changed because of another trainer with same
name)
arrived in Viridian City with her two Pokemon. She went into the pokecenter
and asked "Where's the gym in this town?" The lady with red hair responded
"The gym is closed down. The leader went on a vacation. If it's any help
there is a gym in Pewter City." "Thanks." Maria then started to walk
towards the forest when a strange man with a R on his shirt ran into her.
"Hey. watch where your going you dork." The man said.
"What!? No one calls me a dork." she responded.
"Let's settle this in a battle"
"Fine. RATTATA GO!" she threw the ball in the middle of the space between
them.
"GO POKEBALL!" A round like Pokemon that looked like a pokeball appeared.
"What's that?" Her pokedex said "Whatever!? Rattata bite NOW!" "RATTATA!"
the tiny mouse yelled as it bit the strange ball. "Voltorb Thunder shock
NOW!" The Voltorb shot out a bolt of electricity and hit the mouse. "RAT"
Screeched the mouse. " Alright Rattata send it flying with tackle. "RATTAT"
the mouse yelled as it played some football with the Voltorb. And just then

said. "I beat you?! I BEAT YOU?! I WOOOON!!!!! GREAT JOB RATTATA!" screamed
Mary. "RAT?" a confused Rattata said. All of the sudden she fainted.
She found herself in the Pokecenter with Jigglypuff and rattata on the
floor looking on. "What happened?" she ask. " You won a battle then
fainted. Your lucky you weren't robbed. Your opponent was a team rocket
member." said the nurse. "Team Who?" Mary asked. "Team Rocket. They're a
gang of Pokemon trainer who think Pokemon are only good for making money."
explained the nurse. "Oh" Mary said. " And we fixed up your Rattata. It was
pretty banged up. And some advice your gonna need a water or plant Pokemon
to beat the trainer in Pewter." said the nurse. "Thanks." said Mary. Mary
