In fact, I was sort of asked to write this, so its all legal. For those of you with memories that are not exactly steel traps, we last left our heroes standing outside the Cerulean Gym, chatting politely. However, we *didn't* leave Alyssa and Erin chasing pokéballs, which is how we find them now. "What was that thing that hit us?" asked Erin. "Beats [Authors note: Ha! Pun!] me," said Alyssa. "Say, can you hand me that?" "Sure." Erin and Alyssa were trying to recover from dropping every last pokéball they owned. Maybe it wasn't a problem for Erin, who had maybe *one*, but Alyssa was having minor troubles. The two found themselves on the outskirts of Cerulean, with Olli and Mars arguing nearby. "Hey, 'Lyss, I think I found --" started Erin, as she leaned over a ball. Unfortunately, her foot knocked the ball into a nearby bush. "Oops." "It's okay, I'll go get it." Alyssa started over toward the bush, and stuck his head in. He then seemed to disappear into the bush. Then: "ICK!" "Alyssa?" Mars said, as everyone surrounded the bush. "What's wrong?" "I fell into a hole under the bush, like some sort of secret place! [Authors note: Don't argue, they do this all the time in Zelda 64.] There's a bunch of wells, and stuff. You know, like in Ranma?
