A feeling told him TAC was in trouble, or so he thinks. After congratulating the winners, he boarded Tara and was about to leave, when Lara called him. "John! Wait up!" She caught up and handed him a package. "Do you think you can give this package to Ash at the Indigo Plateau? He's been hounding us for a custom Eevee and we've finally got it ready for him. He's waiting anxiously for his Pokémon right now." "No problem, Lara. Always glad to help my big sister." John winced at the word "sister" since he wasn't a true Laramie. Package in hand, he grasped Tara's reins and whipped. The bird took off, and after some difficulty, was airborne. As they flew, John carefully opened the package. Inside was a Pokéball and three stones. "Oh great. Ash will never be able to choose what he wants this Eevee to become." Finally they touched down in Viridian, the closest John got to actually being at the Plateau. OK, Tara, we're walking now. The two took off and soon reached the first guard. "You must have the Boulder Badge to .. oh, it's you, John. Go ahead. Ash is climbing the walls in impatience." John passed each guard the same way, but a sudden Seadra attack while crossing the river knocked John into the drink. john burst out, sputtering. "Damn Seadra." John swam to the small island, and once he and Ariel were out, he had Spark fry the water. A couple of Magikarp appeared, then the Seadra. All were fainted. "Mmmm, fresh fish! I catch'em, you buy'em!" Finally, he reached the entrance to Victory Road. And there was Ash! "Finally, my Eevee has arrived!" John handed over the package, then suddenly was filled with about 20, 000 volts, give or take a thousand. The two fell down, then Ash yelled, "Pikachu! You stupid rodent! I'm not evolving you!" John got up, grabbed it and tossed it at a nearby tree. A small electric rodent yelled "Pi!" then fell into the water. "Stupid mouse." Ash got up and apologized. "Sorry about that. Pikachu keeps thinking i'm going to use this Thunder Stone on him. it's for the Eevee when i'm finished training him." "No problem. Happens all the time with Spark here." John motioned to the Jolteon currently arguing with the Pikachu. "Why would he worry about evolving? He's already at final form." John, Pikachu and Spark all facefaulted. Ash suddenly found himself on the recieving end of two Thundershocks. "Not evolving, dimbulb! I mean arguements!" John recalled his Pokémon, then got on Tara and flew off before Ash could say anything else. After who knows how long, John finally saw Cerulean City, which was near where he left his friends. Tara touched down. "Good flying, Tara. have a snack." John gave Tara some Pokéchow, which lasted two seconds. "Tara, return! Ariel, come out! Start sniffing around for Tiki and the others."
