He replaced his wallet. He scanned the diners for a place that looked cheap. Brocks Diner. Good a place as any. Luke pushes open the double doors and looks around. YOur normal Diner. Pretty little watresses moving this way and that carrying trys. A counter with people spaced out everycouple seats. A couple tables were scattered here and there in the middle of the dining area and booths lined the wall. Luke noted everone in the room quickly and automaticly. No one he knew was there as far as he could tell. He was hoping for someone he knew willing to buy him a free meal but no such luck. Next best thing is to try to sucker some one into a free meal. He noted a prime canadate sitting in a corner booth, alone. THe guy was nursing a chocolate shake which was mostly melted, an hamburger and fries sat mostly untuoched to the side. Luke could have swore a tear ran down his face. Even if there was no tear it was ovious that this poor boy had been dumped. And hard. Luke though he could lend a simpithedic ear, for the price of a hot meal. He walked over and sat down. The crying guy looked up and it was evedent that he had been crying. "CAn I help you?" the crying guy asked? "NO. No the question is can I help you?" LUke flashed a winning smile, a smile that girs fall in love with almost intently and guy think of as a way of saying 'you got troubles and I've got ears so let it out my man.' His smile broadend. "The names Roland." a casual lie he told almost everyday. "You looked like you've been having some troubles" That smile went up a notch. "whats you name?" "Splash. Yeah I guess you could say I've been having some problems" "well splash. I"m guessing that they are problems with femles, most of them are, why don't you tell me about them" He smile went up again and splash could help but smile back. EAsy meal commign up.
