Darian wandered around the back of the Cerulean Police station.
"That guy at the front desk sure won't let me in. We'll have to try a
back way."
"Persian," Pardus agreed.
They kept searching around the outside of the building. Darian let his
mind wander to his current mission. It would be difficult for him to leave
once he was finished. He had already made some good friends. But he had too,
just like all his others. What was the his objective here anyway? A picture
of the woman with the blood red hair and tight fitting leather clothes
flashed into his mind. Along with it swelled the hatred, but not like he had
felt before. They wanted something done about her, but this more extreme.
"Persian per!" Pardus' call snapped Darian out of his trance.
"What did you find Pardus?" The Persian was resting his front paws on a
window next to a locked door. Inside, he could see an office, empty
fortunately. Directly under the window was a short file cabinet topped with
papers ending an inch below the window sill.
"That's great Pardus, but how are we gonna get in. The window's loc..."
Darian turned to Pardus, who was already usign one of his claws for a glass
cutter. With a slight tap from Darian, the piece of glass fell inwards,
coushined by the huge stack of paper. Darian to opened the window. Pardus
jumped in and unlocked the door for Darian. He paused on the threshold for a
moment then stepped inside and quietly closed the door.
"Pardus, you never cease to amaze me." Pardus purred at the compliment.
"Now," said Darian, "We need some way to get through the station without
being noticed. Ah, these'll do." He donned a uniform resting on a chair.
"I'm ready Pardus let's...What's so funny?" The Persian was rolling on
the floor, trying to surpress is laughter. Darian looked down at himself and
realized the uniform was the wrong gender. He sweatdropped.
"Oops. Well, this is the only uniform so I'm gonna have to wear it.
Wait, let me hide my clothes somewhere." He sifted through various file
cabinets, looking for an empty drawer. In one drawer, a single file stuck up
farther than the rest. He felt a nagging urge to pick it up and open it. He
gave in.
Inside were a few police drawings along with a report. The pictures were
very familiar.
"HER!" Darian caught himself just in time and kept from screaming out
loud, "It's that woman from my dream!" His teeth ground together as he tried
to suppress his sudden rage. He turned to the police report, hoping it
wouldn't bring on such anger.
It read:
Name: UNKNOWN
Gender: Female
Hair: Red
Eyes: Brown
Description: Known on all occasions to wear a tight fitting leather top,
denim jeans, knee-high boots, gun belt and Pidgey skull necklace.
Wanted for: Pokémon serial killing and Pokémon theft
Pardus gave a warning hiss and Darian stuffed the his clothes in an
empty bin by the door and the papers into a hip pocket. A male policeman
entered the room, looking a little shocked to see Darian there.
"Why hello miss. I've never seen you around here before. Are you new?"
Darian stuttered.
"Um...yes, I-I guess I a-am."
"Nice to meet you, the name's Granite," He looked Darian up and down
through squinted eyes, obviously attracted to him. "And if your free Friday,
I know a nice restaurant downtown." Although Darian was trying very hard to
keep the disgust from his face, he never missed an opportunity. He got close
to the policeman and ran his index finger up and down the man's chest.
"Sounds romantic, honey. By the way, do you think you can help a lost
girl find the microfilm room?" The man gave Darian a perverted smile.
"Second door on the left. See you Friday." Pardus slipped behind the man
unnoticed and followed Darian out the door. Before Darian could get out the
door, the man reached out and pinched his butt. Darian doubled his march
down the hallway, fighting a losing battle to stifle his gag reflex, and
keep himself from going back and beating the guy into a mushy pulp on the
carpet. Before his temptations and bodily functions could reach a climax, he
found the microfilm room. The door was locked.
"We'd better wait here Pardus. Maybe Tiki'll be able to pick the lock."
He sat him self in a chair and Pardus kept a watch out under a coffee
machine.
He knows we are getting desperate. We must
abort the mission.
Just give him time. He will accomplish his goal.
He's onto us. He was made too intelligent.
Do not worry. The Leaders will take care of that.
Besides, does he look that intelligent to you?
Heh.
TBC?
(OOC: Whew! My longest post yet. Can anyone guess who the voices are?)
