Date: Tuesday, October 26, 1999 6:06 PM We join CJ at the Drake's Seafoam Island Gym as it's temporary Gym Leader while Drake's busy in Cinnabar. Just as he was finishing his eighth battle when he noticed Gary entering the Gym. "What are you doing here?"asked CJ shocked to see his rival in the corner. "I'm here check out the famous Underwater Gym, but if I knew that a loser like you ran it, I would have headed the other way."retorted Gary." What happened? Did you realize that you'd never become a Pokemon Master so you gave up. It figures." "You're here for a battle so I'll give it to you. I've did pretty well for myself so chose two pokemon and we'll see who's the loser. Are you ready?" "Prepare to lose." "I choose Rocky!" "Go Nidoking!" The pokemon squared off as the Geodude was severely outmatched by the rather large Nidoking. Geodude tried to use both Rock Throw and Tackle, but he couldn't match the power of Nidoking who sent him flying into the wall with a single Mega Punch. Rocky then used Self Destruct but afterwards Nidoking still stood tall. CJ called back Rocky and called out Pidgeot who nailed him with Whirlwind which slammed him into a nearby wall which KOed him. Gary ordered out Arcanine who missed with multiple Flamethrowers before successfully hitting him with Fire Blast which sent him crashing into the ground, on the verge of fainting. "Arcanine, use Bi..." "Return Pidgeot,"ordered CJ, before Arcanine could respond to his trainer's orders. "Sorry,"mocked Gary as CJ tossed him the Tsunami Badge,"but today was just not your day but I guess you're use to losing." "I'll beat you next time we fight,"retorted CJ. "There won't be a next time. I won't waste my time defeating you again,"as he headed outside the gym."Smell ya later." TBC???
