The crowd loudly chanted "Bruno," as no one noticed that the weak Marowak had managed to get to his feet as his eyes emitted a rather strange glow. The crowd grew silent as the pokemon charged at Machamp and attacked him mercilessly with several hard bone blows. Marowak then pounced back with an acrobatic flip a hit him with a his bonemerang which him twice before he caught it or it's return, the blow knocked the semi-unconious pokemon. Marowak entertained the crowd with a couple of bone tricks before CJ ran over to him and smiled. "We did it!!! We won!!!" CJ stooped down and gave him a small hug as he noticed Bruno was heading in his direction. "I beat you fair and square,"stated CJ," If you want a rematch, it'll have to be another time and place." "Don't worry, I just wanted to congratulate you and to tell you to knock 'im dead at the PokeCup, you certainly have enough talent to do well,"replied Bruno as he headed out to leave. Later that day, CJ and Marowak walked up to the podium where he received a trophy, a slightly larger beautiful replica of the silver Boulder Badge with several rock and fighting pokemon skillfully engraved one side and the fighting pokemon logo carved in it with CJ's full name and Fighting Pokemon Challenge Champion under it. "It is my pleasure to present this award to the youngest trainer to ever win it in the history of Petwer, CJ Smith of Pallet Town,"stated Brock as he presented CJ with his trophy and the badge. After everyone left, Brock told CJ that he needs to hang on to the bagde in order to compete in the PokeCup. "Aren't you from Pallet Town?"asked Brock. "Yep,"responded CJ took a small drink from his can of pop. "Do you Ash Ketchem and Gary Oak?" "Yeah, Ash was best friends in Pallet and Gary... well we used to be friend but then be became um, I don't quite know one word that discribes him, um, I got it , he became... Gary" "Did you know that they are going to compete in the PokeCup also. You will be going against 31 of the best trainers, Lance of Agatha if the Elite Four, all of the major gym leaders, including myself, so if don't train hard, you'll definitely lose in the first round. I'll be rooting for you but if I face you in competition, I'll do my best to beat you." "You better because I'm going show anyone mercy,"replied CJ. "Will you be staying in Petwer for awhile?" "Nope, I'm leaving tomorrow morning for Pallet, the professor will be surprised that I beat a member of the Elite Four. I'll see you at the PokeCup in a couple weeks,"finished CJ as he left for his motel room.
