A small Venomoth, perhaps just newly evolved, crawled up and down the glass surface. She raised a hand and tapped lightly on the window. Startled, the insect fluttered away out of view. "What? Izztill early," Robert mumbled next to her, then rolled over and covered his face from the sun. "Eh..." Rilli traced her finger over the window panes. They need to do a better job of dusting, she decided. "Nothing, just a bug." Robert bolted up straight in the bed. "Bug? Where!?" He scanned the surroundings paranoidly, expecting an insect to land on him any moment. "Nah, it's gone now," Rilli sighed and diverted her gaze to the ceiling. "What time is it anyway?" Robert squinted at the clock on the wall. "9:42, still early." Rilli absorbed that information and was about to go back to sleep when realization dawned. "9:42!? Our tickets are for the 10:00 flight!" ----- Ten minutes and two hurried preparations later, the couple was sitting sleepily in the waiting room of the Pidgeot Express gate. Robert was munching on a bagel while Rilli quietly digested the banana she had swallowed in a hurry. "It figures... we wake up late and the flight is delayed. I could have slept in for another 12 minutes..." By the time their Pidgeots arrived, both of the travelers were ready to fall asleep again. They managed to climb aboard the large birds with little difficulty, and with a high-pitched call, the Pidgeots took off. The crisp wind in her face actually made Rilli more alert, and she settled back for the long flight towards Viridian City. Idly, she wondered what Rosetta will be like...
